Suge Knight Is Suing Dr. Dre For Allegedly Trying To Have Him Killed

Well, when you’re locked up on murder charges and have gotten bored from re-enacting scenes from The Exorcist with your haunted toilet, one way to pass the time is to go down to the jailhouse library and read Frivolous Ass Lawsuits For Dummies. Suge Knight has already sued Chris Brown and the club 1 Oak for not providing enough security at the 2014 VMAs party where his ass was shot up seven times. TMZ says that shooting has brought out another lawsuit from Suge. Suge has thrown a lawsuit at Dr. Dre for allegedly putting a hit on him.

Back in April, a judge took away Suge’s right to make phone calls and receive visits from people other than his lawyers. Suge cried that it was the work of a massive cover-up to keep him from talking about how Dr. Dre tried to take him out. Suge is now taking his claim to court. Suge claims in the lawsuit that Dr. Dre wanted him dead over money. Suge says that he has a lifetime deal with Dre, which entitles him to 30% of Dre’s entertainment earnings. When Dre sold Beats by Dre to Apple for nearly $1 billion, Suge was cut out of that deal because Apple didn’t want to be associated with him. Suge says that’s fine and pretty and everything, but Dre still owes him $300 million.

Suge thinks that Dre figured that he can’t get his hands on that $300 million if his hands are buried with the rest of his body six feet under. So Suge believes that Dre hired a hitman to kill him. That hitman must’ve had bad reviews on Angie’s List because he didn’t get the job done. Suge was shot seven times but recovered.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department supposedly questioned a dude named T-Money about the shooting. Suge’s lawsuit says that T-Money confessed to being the gunman and said that Dre paid him to kill the cigar-smoking diabolical bear. T-Money was never arrested or charged. Suge claims that after T-Money failed, Dre adopted the saying, “At first you don’t succeed, hire another hitman to try again.

The suit says that Dre and Universal, who were behind Straight Outta Compton, paid Cle “Bone” Sloan $300,000 to do what T-Money didn’t. Suge says he was ambushed at Tam’s Burgers in Compton, near a promotional shoot for Straight Outta Compton. Suge ended up running over both Bone Sloan and another man, Terry Carter, with his truck. Bone Sloan survived, but Terry Carter didn’t. Suge is awaiting trial for the murder of Terry Carter and the attempted murder of Bone Sloan. Suge says he didn’t mean to kill Terry. He was just trying to escape his own death.

Suge is suing Dre for $300 million. He’s also suing Apple, Universal and Tam’s Burgers. I’m surprised Shameless Suge didn’t go all the way by suing the estate of Terry Carter for getting in his truck’s way. Dre’s lawyer laughed off the suit:

“Given that Dre has had zero interaction with Suge since leaving Death Row Records in 1996, we hope that Suge’s lawyer has lots of malicious prosecution insurance.”

Suge’s claims are pretty shocking. I mean, who would want to put a hit on Suge Knight? We all know him to be a sweet and gentle bearded ladybug who has never screwed or pissed off anyone. If Suge does get any money out of this lawsuit, the least he should do is send a thank you fruit and wine basket to T-Money and Bone Sloan for being shitty at their jobs.
