Brad Pitt Isn’t Responding To Angelina Jolie’s Divorce Petition Because He Doesn’t Want To Cause Drama

Brad Pitt had a deadline to respond to the divorce papers Angelina Jolie filed a month ago. That deadline was Wednesday, the same say Brad finally had some therapist-supervised one-on-one time with Maddox. Brad Pitt missed that deadline, but it’s not because he went home after his visit, cracked a 6-pack of Keystone, and fell asleep during a Love At First Swipe marathon on the couch. TMZ says Brad missed that deadline on purpose, because he has no plans to ever file a legal response.

Source say that the reason Brad is dragging his feet is because he’s afraid that filing a legal response to Angelina’s divorce petition will make things messy for him when it comes time to fight over the child army. Brad wants joint legal and physical custody of the kids, whereas Angelina wants sole custody. I guess there’s a chance he might not get that joint custody if he files a response.

If Brad does end up filing a response, the sources say it will be after the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services close their investigation on that alleged This Boys Life-style fight with Maddox.

Brad probably won’t ever file, which means that Angelina and the Axis of Anti-Brad could technically get a default judgement. But doing that would start a major divorce war, and the sources say Angelina doesn’t want that because it would be bad for the kids. Okay, but you know there’s a little part of her that’s whispering “Do it, Angie! Take his greasy ass down!

The sources go on to say that both Angelina and Brad would rather play nice and settle this divorce in a private manner, again, because they don’t want a messy public divorce court fight to affect the kids. Someone is laying it on a little thick here. Whatever happened to “Angelina wants to DESTROY Brad“? Maybe the hiring manager of The UN let Angelina know that all the next-level ruthlessness was making them second-guess her job application. “You know Angelina, you’re not the only saint-identifying actress in the humanitarian game anymore.
