Selena Gomez Is Reportedly Back In Rehab

At the end of August, Selena Gomez announced that she was cancelling the remainder of the dates on her Revival Tour and was taking some time off to deal with the side effects of lupus. Selena was diagnosed back in 2014, and her lupus was triggering anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Selena didn’t get into specifics about where she was going to spend her time off. Now People and UsWeekly are both reporting that part of her time off will be spent in rehab.

Just like Kid Cudi last week, Selena is reportedly in rehab to deal with mental health issues. Multiple sources say that she’s still dealing with the lupus thing, and this is just part of the process. Those sources also spilled Selena’s GPS coordinates by saying she’s currently at a treatment center in Tennessee. Selena’s rehab cover was sort of blown over the weekend when she was spotted having lunch at a Texas Roadhouse with her family.

This marks the second time Selena Gomez has checked into a rehab-like place for lupus-related issues. Selena went away back in 2014 for what was reported at the time as an addiction to booze, weed, and a certain asshole-y Canadian pop star, but was later revealed by Selena as chemotherapy treatment.

The sources don’t say how long Selena has been at her current rehab for, nor do they know how long she’ll be there. UsWeekly’s source adds that Selena’s rehab center is a “private and quiet place” and “super intense.” I hope that source means they’re super intense about treatment, and not that it’s run by the kind of super intense Tracy Flick type who sees Selena coming back with a doggy bag from Texas Roadhouse and asks if she brought enough for everybody. Gawd, leave Selena and her leftover Dalls Fillet alone!
