Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Manager Got An Email From Tom DeLonge About UFOs

Huh, I always sort of pictured Tom DeLonge as more of a “mail a manila envelope filled with alien sightings taken on an untraceable LG flip phone and printed out at the drugstore” type.

Tom DeLonge, former guitarist for Blink-182 and current UFO enthusiast, is really into educating people about unidentified flying objects. He’s so into it that he repeatedly tried to get someone close to Hillary Clinton involved in a conversation about flying saucers and aliens. Maybe Tom didn’t get the memo that Donald Trump is the one who lies awake at night worrying about aliens?

On Monday, WikiLeaks released 2,000 emails from an account belonging to Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager and former advisor to President Barack Obama John Podesta. A couple of the emails leaked were from Tom DeLonge, and of course they were about UFOs. According to the Wall Street Journal (via Rolling Stone), Tom emailed John the first time back in October 2015 to discuss working with him on a multimedia project for Tom’s production company To The Stars. Tom wanted to bring “two very important people” with relevant information relating to their “sensitive topic” out to DC to meet with John Podesta and discuss UFOs. Tom doesn’t say who those very important people are, but it’s obviously Detective Fox Mulder and Detective Dana Scully.

Three months later in January 2016, Tom reportedly sent John Podesta the following email with the subject being “General McCasland.” General McCasland was a former Air Force official who, according to Tom DeLonge, had information about the 1947 UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico. Tom apparently really wanted to introduce John to his friend General McCasland.

“He mentioned he’s a ‘skeptic’, he’s not. I’ve been working with him for four months. I just got done giving him a four hour presentation on the entire project a few weeks ago. Trust me, the advice is already been happening on how to do all this. He just has to say that out loud, but he is very, very aware- as he was in charge of all of the stuff. When Roswell crashed, they shipped it to the laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. General McCasland was in charge of that exact laboratory up to a couple years ago. He not only knows what I’m trying to achieve, he helped assemble my advisory team. He’s a very important man.”

It’s maybe not that crazy that Tom DeLonge would email Hillary Clinton’s campaign advisor and try to arrange a meet up to discuss UFOs. John Podesta is also pretty into the UFO truther game. Back in 2002, John said during a press conference that he thought the US government should be more open with the public about UFO investigations. In 2015 when he stepped down as an advisor to President Obama, he tweeted that his biggest regret of 2014 was that he never disclosed official US government UFO documents.

Rolling Stone says that the WikiLeaks dump doesn’t show that John replied to either of Tom’s emails. But there was a calendar notification suggesting that someone named Susan McCasland Wilkerson accepted a meeting from John and Tom. Hillary totally just called John into her office and asked him to have a seat. “Hey John? How about you stop emailing back and forth with the hot one from Blink-182 and channel that obsession with extraterrestrials into trying to make me sound more human.
