Chris Brown Acted Like Chris Brown At A Charity Basketball Game Yesterday

Yesterday, J Harvey brought us the news that Chris Brown was done throwing “parties” in his house. So far, it appears that Chris is very committed to keeping his messy antics outside of his home. Yesterday, Chris packed up his bad energy, and took it with him it to Power 106’s annual All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game yesterday at USC. “Haven’t they suffered enough?” thought everyone at that charity.

According to TMZ, Chris refused to stand for the national anthem. Tank, who sang the anthem, encouraged everyone – even those choosing to sit in protest – to get up out of respect for those who died on 9/11. Chris disagreed with Tank, and stayed sitting. And instead of staying quiet during the national anthem, he passed the time by laughing with his friends and pulling goofy faces.

Chris Brown then decided to give everyone a taste of the Chris Brown they know by getting into a fight with someone in the stands. TMZ says that it started because Chris was angry that someone was in a section of the arena that they weren’t supposed to be in. He would be that guy at a basketball game who rats on you when you try to sneak into better seats. TMZ has a video of the altercation. The details of the fight aren’t really known; the music sort of drowned out the vocals of Chris’ tantrum. But the look on his face tells us he’s definitely all raged up.

Eventually the police got involved and broke up the fight before Chris could pull a Ron Artest-circa 2004. Power 106 tells TMZ that the guy Chris tattled on was, in fact, in a section he wasn’t supposed to be in. They add that they’re with Chris on this one.

You know what? I’m on Team Chris on this one too. What was that fan thinking by trying to get closer to the court? Everybody knows the safest distance to be from Chris Brown is as far back as possible. What if one of the refs called a foul on Chris Brown? Do you really want to be in the splash zone when a pissed-off Chris Brown rips the net pole out of the court floor with his bare hands and launches it into the audience like a giant javelin? Come on guy, use some common sense here.

Here’s Chris at the charity basketball game yesterday. I wonder what number he chose for the back of his jersey? My guess is 666.
