Frances Bean Cobain’s Ex Is Very Scared Of Courtney Love
What? No! How could anyone be afraid of Courtney Love? She’s just a sometimes-crazy, bad-with-money 52-year-old woman who does not play and hangs out with Sam Lutfi and okay I see it now. Run, Frances Bean Cobain’s ex, run!
Last week we found out that FBC’s estranged husband Isaiah Silva wants $25,000 a month in spousal support because he says he needs the money to take care of his 7-year-old daughter from another relationship. Courtney Love tried to solve FBC’s gold digging problem back in July by introducing Isaiah to her good friend Sam Lutfi. Sam’s persuasion tactics involved calling up Isaiah’s daughter’s mother Jessica Sullivan and threatening her to get on Team FBC or else.
Page Six says that Isaiah is afraid of Courtney and Sam. So afraid that he spent some nights at Jessica’s home (a home that was paid for by FBC) just in case Sam showed up. Isaiah and Jessica eventually got sick of living in fear, so they got a professional involved. Isaiah has hired a PI named Tom Grant to protect his family. Not only is Tom a private detective, but he also has magic anti-harassment powers. A source claims that the threats have stopped ever since Tom got involved.
It might seem like Tom Grant is a sane person who has successfully de-escalated this situation, but no, it sounds like he’s just as messy as everyone else. Shortly after he was hired, Tom Grant posted several phone recordings of Sam Lutfi hissing hate at Jessica on a Geocities-looking website called BulliesNightmare.com. He also doesn’t like Courtney Love on a personal level. Tom was hired by Courtney in 1994 to track down Kurt Cobain after he left rehab the week before his death. After Kurt was found dead, Tom decided to investigate his death. Tom doesn’t come right out and say “COURTNEY DID IT!!!“, but his eyes definitely got a work out from all the side-eyeing he threw her way. If you want to read about that while simultaneously taking a quick trip back to the internet of the early 2000s, swing on over to Tom’s website.
The threats have ended but Isaiah is still upset at what Courtney and Sam did, and the only thing that will dry his tears is compen$ation. A source tells Page Six that the reason he decided to come after FBC for spousal support to the tune of $300,000 a year is because he feels he deserves something for the “hell” Courtney and Sam put him through.
I know this situation is far from over, but I’m glad they’ve at least figured out a way to control the craziness a bit. Which I guess would be to hire other people to be dramatic on your behalf? At least nobody is living in fear this way. Sam and Tom can trail each other all around Los Angeles and leave angry messages on each other’s voicemails. Once a week they can meet for coffee at Canter’s and discuss their upcoming hired goon schedules. “Courtney has asked me to threaten Isaiah about the guitar on Tuesday. Does that work for you?” “Yikes, I’m busy Tuesday. How about you call me up on Wednesday afternoon. I’ve been asked to leak some more threats mid-week, so that would be really convenient for me.”
