Ed Hartwell Says He Isn’t Plotting Against Keshia Knight Pulliam’s Unborn Baby

On Saturday, Keshia Knight Pulliam reminded everyone that the situation with her soon-to-be ex-husband/father of her unborn baby Ed Hartwell was still 100% awful by alleging in divorce documents that he has been “plotting to harm” her and their baby. Rudy Huxtable didn’t get into the specifics of Ed’s alleged plot; only that he was trying to “obstruct her pregnancy” and was planning to use “underhanded and unusual conduct” to trigger a miscarriage. She also mentioned that Ed has access to guns. Ed is now telling his side and says that everyone can stop sending Rudy blueprints for an in-womb panic room. Ed says he’s not plotting against their unborn baby.

According to UsWeekly, Ed filed a response to Keshia’s accusations in a Georgia court yesterday. In them, Ed denies that he has “purposefully misled” anyone about Keshia’s pregnancy. He stated that Keshia should “be ashamed of herself” for making such accusations against him. He also cranked the melodramatics to a full-10 by suggesting that Keshia is the one who is mentally and emotionally abusive, and is exploiting their situation for attention.

“The Plaintiff [Hartwell] emphatically denies that he has exhibited despicable character and egregious demeanor by giving interviews to the media for financial gain. The Plaintiff would like to remind the Defendant [Pulliam] that she is the person who sat for an interview which was aired over a two (2) day period following the filing of her Answer to this Complaint.”

Ed is referring to the interview Keshia did with Entertainment Tonight at the end of July.

I really want this to be as messy as this gets. But the cynical Jiminy Cricket on my shoulder won’t stop tapping my ear and whispering: “Oh, you sweet simpleton – it’s going to get waaaay messier.” How can it not? You’ve got a former child star-turned-reality TV contestant fighting over an unborn baby with a former NFL player-turned-reality TV husband. I blame this on reality TV. No good can come from it. Well, the only good that could come from it would be a reality show called Keshia & Ed: Stop Being Assholes, You’re About To Have A Child. At least that way a producer would be on hand to stop them before they make things worse. “Ed, it looks like you’re about to accuse Keshia of using morse code to tap an in-utero message to your child that says ‘YOUR DAD SUCKS’. Are you sure you want to do that?
