Thomas Gibson Has Hired Lawyers After Getting Dropped From “Criminal Minds”

Three days after he was permanently escorted off the set of Criminal Minds by CBS’s strongest-shinned security guard for kicking an executive producer, Thomas Gibson has lawyered up. Watch out, CBS – you’re about to get a roundhouse kick to the balls courtesy of disgruntled former employee Thomas Gibson! Of course by “roundhouse kick“, I mean “threat of a lawsuit“, and by “balls“, I mean “HR department.” Although this is Thomas Gibson we’re talking about, so there’s still a good chance this could end with him literally kicking someone.

Thomas was suspended and then fired from Criminal Minds after he kicked executive producer Virgil Williams during an on-set fight over a script. It didn’t take long for Thomas to call up a couple lawyers. The Hollywood Reporter says that he hired entertainment lawyers Skip Miller and Sasha Frid, and he’s thinking about pursuing legal action against ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios.

THR isn’t sure what claims Thomas and his lawyers might pursue. But a source tells them Thomas considers kicking Virgil Williams was an act of “self-defense.” Other sources are calling BS on Thomas’ self-defense excuse. They claim Virgil is small in stature and is known for being a non-aggressive presence on set.

Neither Miller not Frid would comment on if Thomas is going to sue. Someone is talking about this situation, though, and it’s Thomas’ one-time Criminal Minds co-star Shemar Moore. The thick-in-the-eyebrows buff hunk released an Instagram video about “gossip” and “karma” over the weekend, and it was more than a little obvious it was about this mess with Thomas. Shemar went in with lots of smooth-voiced talk about not acting like you’re better than anyone else and treating people how you’d expect them to treat you. Shemar never says the name “Thomas Gibson“, but unless some evil bitch recently came for his baby girl Penelope Garcia, there’s a 100% chance he was talking about Thomas Gibson.

Shemar eventually deleted the video, but nothing truly dies on the internet:

Please tell me I’m not the only one who was deeply disappointed when the video didn’t end with Shemar unwrapping his bad boys (ie. his juicy seldom-covered pecs) and showing them off.
