Lisa Marie Presley Has Checked Into Rehab

Less than two months after it was revealed that she was ending her ten year marriage to the Mad Hatter’s Sunset Strip-dwelling grandson Michael Lockwood, UsWeekly says Lisa Marie Presley has checked into rehab. Lisa Marie is having a not-great summer. I’m going to stop complaining; salty eyebrow sweat and drinking booze that gets warm 0.4 seconds after you pour it into a glass is nothing compared to dealing with a divorce and rehab at the same time.

A source tells UsWeekly that Lisa Marie is being treated for an addiction to prescription pills.

“She’s doing OK but needed to get this under control.”

The National Enquirer added a thick layer of messiness to this story. They claim Lisa Marie’s time in rehab will also give her a chance to recover from her relationship with Michael Lockwood. Sources allege that Michael was verbally and physically abusive, and that he used to regularly fat shame Lisa Marie. Sources also claim their relationship was filled with plenty of booze and drug use.

Lisa Marie has had problems with drugs and booze in the past, and she has admitted that Scientology helped her get clean. Current-day Lisa Marie wants nothing to do with Scientology, so it’s not exactly a surprise that she’s skipping Dr. David Miscavige’s Demons-B-Gone in favor of an actual rehab. Multiple sources say that Lisa Marie is at The Hills Treatment Center in Los Angeles. According to UsWeekly, getting help at The Hills will cost you $400,000 a month. Trust me, I had to double-check the number of zeros, because I was sure that number was a typo.

Four hundred thousand dollars. I hope Lisa Marie spoke to her accountant before she checked in to The Hills to make sure she could afford it. I’d hate for her to find out two weeks in that her credit card had been declined because her shady soon-to-be ex-husband had made a copy and maxed it out on $400,000 worth of custom hats.
