Amy Schumer Posed Chonies-Less To Raise Awareness For Gun Violence
If you’re on Twatter, Instagram, SnatchChat or whatever, then you have definitely seen pictures of famous tricks and famous-adjacent tricks wearing orange to raise awareness for gun violence. I don’t know, when I want to raise awareness for gun violence, I just tell people to turn on the news and watch the coverage of the mass shooting of the day. But wearing something orange while trout-facing in a selfie works too, I guess.
It looks like 2016’s version of the Ice Bucket Challenge is #WearOrange, a campaign from the non-profit organization Everytown For Gun Safety. The whole “wear orange to promote gun safety” thing started when the friends of Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year-old who was shot and killed, wore the color orange to remember his life. Since yesterday was National Gun Violence Awareness Day, tons of celebrities posted #WearOrange selfies. Amy Schumer, who has spoke out for stricter gun laws several times, really went for that shit by throwing up a picture of her head-less and pant-less body on Instagram.
Sure that selfie also raises awareness for Amy Schumer, Instagram filters and the pantless movement (which we need more of and I’m talking to you, Alexander Skarsgard and Idris Elba), but well, we are talking about the cause, so mission accomplished! Amy Schumer’s poon will end gun violence!
Other celebrities who partook in #WearOrange were Brooke Shields, Chupa Zoe, Julianne Moore, Chelsea Handler (who strangely enough, kept it covered), Spike Lee, Elizabeth Banks, Rita Wilson (whose “orange” is more burnt sienna to me) and Debra MESSing who got shit for taking her #WearOrange selfie while watching the news about the UCLA shooting. Of course, since the campaign involves posting a picture of yourself it wouldn’t be komplete without Kim Kartrashian who let us know that she wore her gun violence-fighting orange with Yeezy season 2 heels. Such an activist!

But what I want to know is, what is mutated Oompa Loompa goiter Donald Trump doing since he’s orange? If he goes out with his orange face, we’ll all think he’s promoting the #WearOrange campaign. Eh, he’ll probably get his minions to do him up in whiteface for the next few days.
