Nicki Minaj Claims She’s Being Sued By Safaree Samuels For Emotional And Physical Abuse

Ah, to be young and not fighting with each other on Twitter over possible lawsuits. Nicki Minaj and her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels haven’t been a thing for more almost two years, but they just can’t seem to quit each other. And not in the “secret hookups at a motel while Meek Mill is out of town” way either. It’s more like they can’t quit fighting with each other. Last year, Safaree farted on Nicki in a song about their 12-year relationship, to which Nicki responded by slapping at him repeatedly on Twitter. Well, they’re currently in the middle of another fight, and this time it’s all over an alleged lawsuit.

Last night, Nicki put on her good nails, hopped on Twitter, and proceeded to scratch at Safaree until she damn near blew out one of Twitter’s server farms. According to Nicki, she received a lawsuit from Safaree on Monday – three days after Meek Mill’s birthday – in which he claims Nicki emotionally and physically abused him. You know, I thought it was strange that Nicki stayed so silent on Twitter after Demi Lovato came for her last week, and now I see why. She was clearly saving her finger energy to rip Safaree a new asshole.

Shortly after Nicki went off on Twitter, Safaree picked up a stick and decided to poke at Nicki a little.

As for that lawsuit, sources tell TMZ says that it doesn’t exactly exist. Yet. Safaree is still in the threatening stage of his lawsuit. But sources claim there’s a good chance it could get to the filed stage. On Tuesday night, Safaree’s lawyers allegedly contacted Nicki’s people and issued a final warning about it.

This isn’t the first time Safaree has sicced his lawyers on Nicki. Back in November, he threatened to sue Nicki for a cut of the profits from her albums The Pink Print, Pink Friday, and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and a whole bunch of her singles. Safaree claimed he was involved with the production of it all and wanted to see some money from it.

If I was Nicki, I don’t know if I’d be too worried about losing any money. She can always pawn one of those giant-ass not-engagement rings from Meek Mill. However, I’d be very worried about money if I was one of Safaree’s lawyers. There’s a very good chance you will not get paid if this lawsuit goes to trial and Nicki wins. I mean, if your client can’t afford the $10 annual fee for the domain name for his own website, I wouldn’t count on seeing payment for any lawyer’s fees.
