Minnie Driver Is Being Sued For Allegedly Whipping Baby Food Jars Filled With Paint At Her Neighbor’s House

I didn’t think I’d ever be writing about Minnie Driver getting into legal trouble over a paint-filled baby food jar fight with her neighbor, but here we are.

TMZ says that Minnie Driver has been sued by her neighbor Daniel Perelmutter for allegedly being a constant headache who is making it nearly impossible for him to finish construction on his house. He claims Minnie has replaced her neighborly “Hellos” with expletive-filled rants. Most people can handle the odd “go fuck yourself” from their neighbor, but not Daniel. Daniel has had a heart transplant, and he says that Minnie’s language is putting too much stress on it.

I don’t know if you can actually sue someone for cussing you out on the regular. I’m guessing you can’t, because Daniel is suing Minnie over a gate and for throwing things at his property. Daniel and Minnie used to share an electronic gate, but he claims she cut off his access to it. Since the gate is an issue, he’s asking the court to remove it.

Okay, so onto the baby food part of the story. The lawsuit claims that Minnie has been making trouble by throwing construction materials and baby food jars filled with black paint onto his property. Baby food jars with black paint! And I thought eggs with Justin Bieber’s bratty stank on them was the ultimate in crappy next-door-neighbor gifts. Daniel says that Minnie’s antics have held up work on his house and he also alleges that she has blocked in his workers for up to eight hours at a time.

Minnie and Daniel’s issues with each other go way back. They’ve been warring over house issues for years. Last year, she took out a restraining order on Daniel after he allegedly told her to “fuck off and die” and blew cigar smoke in her face. A week ago, the cops were called after Minnie lost her shit on Daniel because a delivery truck blocked her driveway. They’ve recently been to court to try to work it out and that’s obviously going really well for them.

Daniel’s lawsuit makes Minnie Driver sound even more obnoxious than the character she played on Will & Grace, Lorraine Finster. With that being said, Daniel is wasting his time trying to solve this situation with a lawsuit and a judge. He needs Karen Walker! If anyone knows how to put Lorraine in her place, it’s Karen.
