Demi Lovato Went On A Bit Of A Twitter Rant Last Night

Yesterday, Demi Lovato dragged Nicki Minaj for being maybe-shady and not tagging her in an Instagram picture. Demi only came for Nicki on Snapchat and Instagram, and I felt a little cheated, because everyone knows you haven’t truly started shit with someone on social media unless you take a bitchy swipe at them on Twitter. Well, last night Demi completed her mission to create some unnecessary drama by hopping on Twitter and going for it. But she gave Nicki the night off, and went after internet trolls instead.

Demi doesn’t names names (unlike yesterday, where she went so far as to give us a picture). But it’s pretty obvious that her Twitter rant is directed at trolls and “haters” who slapped at her for talking shit about Nicki. And Demi has some major feelings about it all.

Okay, so who is this silent-voiced “fake as fuck” person she’s talking about? Demi, come ON! Name a name! Is it Nicki? Is it Taylor? Is it Poot? It’s totally Poot.

I understand what Demi means about trolling, but I also know that embarrassing online behavior goes much deeper than Twitter-swiping at celebrities. I just got the cold sweats thinking about what I’ll do if my future grandchildren ever ask how much time I spent on MySpace in 2004. “Too much, children (sobs)…too much. I’m not proud of how I spent my time, but you don’t understand – the desire to upload vaguely-slutty pictures of myself from an awkward high-angle in an American Apparel gold lamé bodysuit was too strong.

Here’s more of Demi at an AOL event on Tuesday. Demi looked like a picture frame from a Real Housewife’s New Jersey McMansion at the Met Gala on Monday night, and now she looks like the wallpaper from said McMansion’s gaudiest guest powder room. All that’s missing is a little gilded tray with decorative Versace perfume bottles and a roll of pink toilet paper.
