Another Person Came For Zendaya’s Looks And – Surprise! – It Didn’t End Well

A little over a year ago, come-to-life Santo Bugito character Giuliana Rancic found herself on the receiving end of a whole lot of shit after she made a joke on Fashion Police about young famous type Zendaya looking like she smells like patchouli and weed. This weekend someone tried once again to make a joke about Zendaya, and it went over about as well as you’d expect. Like I said, it wasn’t Giuliana Rancic, although she did get dragged into this mess.

Shortly after Zendaya strolled down the orange carpet of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, Julie Klausner of Difficult People, hopped on Twitter and made a few jokes about Zendaya’s lack-of-weight. “How positively rude!” thought skinny body advocate Cheryl Tiegs.

Obviously you don’t need to be Calvin Tran to know that making fun of a famous teen’s body is going to trigger an Oh Here Go Hell Come tsunami. Julie clearly saved the flotation device from the last time the internet got upset that she made a joke about a famous child, because she didn’t seem that bothered when Zendaya’s minions came hard for her.

When Giuliana made a joke about Zendaya’s appearance, Zendaya responded with an Instagram dissertation slapping at her for her ignorance. But Zendaya clearly had more important things to do, like figuring out where to put that ugly orange blimp trophy, because she only threatened to rip Julie on Twitter.

The first time a joke about Zendaya caused a whole lot of drama, it ended with Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin quitting Fashion Police. I don’t think this mess will make Julie’s Difficult People co-star Billy Eichner pull a Kathy and quit. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he showed up outside of Julie’s house, Billy on the Street-style, and forced her to play a game called Stop Being Difficult that involves deleting the Twitter app on her phone.

Here’s more of Zendaya from Saturday night. I don’t know if she looks skinnier than one of Giuliana’s elbows, but her tits in that dress do look sharper than Giuliana’s cheekbones.
