The Bright Shining A-List Stars Really Came Out For The People’s Choice Awards Last Night

I almost watched the People’s Choice Awards last night, because there’s something about seeing the few A-listers there making faces that say, “I really need to fire my goddamn publicist for making me go to this shit,” while surrounded by extras from The CW shows and shameless spotlight humpers (see: Frankie Grande). But I shat on that thought and decided to watch the condensation on my water glass for 2 hours instead.

Besides attention whore flamingo Frankie Grande showing up looking like a Great Value version of Caesar Flickman from The Hunger Games (more like The Thirst Games), other stuff actually happened. Sensitive thumb Vin Diesel cooed out another musical tribute to Paul Walker and Melanie Griffith’s daughter made a joke about her tits. But the moment that really made the rounds was the sad re-creation of Kanye West’s “Imma let you finish…” stunt.

The Talk won the award for Favorite Daytime TV Hosting Team and when they all got to the mic to accept it, some dude named Zacari Nicasio hijacked the mic from Darlene Conner to whore out the album of that cousin-fucking rapper mess Kevin Gates. Sharon Osbourne kicked the stage crasher as Sheryl Underwood chased him off. Hold on to something sturdy because the realness of this moment may knock you over:

That moment was about as organic and natural as whatever the hell Sharon Osbourne injects into her mug. Zacari also crashed Pimp Mama Kris’ birthday party.

MTV News says that Zacari was arrested by private security and charged with a misdemeanor. “Arrested” is a funny word to use to describe Zacari getting a handshake and a check from producers for a stunt well done! I see them all. I also see that Sheryl Underwood didn’t rehearse her part very well. Sheryl, the line in the script was, “You ain’t gonna pull a Kanye up in here,” not, “You ain’t gonna pull a Steve Harvey up in here.” Sheryl Underwood was the one who pulled a Steve Harvey by saying the wrong name!

And here’s a million pictures of A-listers who wore their worst outfit (because they’re wearing their better ones to the other award shows) and Z-listers who wore their best outfits (because this is the only award show they were invited to).
