One Of The Dudes From 5 Seconds Of Summer Hurt Justin Bieber’s Feelings During A Rolling Stone Interview

For those of you staring at this picture and wondering “For why am I looking at an off-brand Sum 41 in low-budget Dixie Chicks drag?” or looking at the second-from-the-left dude and thinking “I didn’t know Liam McPoyle had a son who was in a band“, it’s actually a band called 5 Seconds of Summer. You know, the current favorite band of your niece who asked for a Hot Topic gift card and a tub of Manic Panic hair dye for Christmas.

Anyway, 5SOS recently did an interview with Rolling Stone, during which their guitarist, Michael Clifford (the Chuckie Finster looking one that Chanel #5 wrote a breakup song about last year), spread his ass cheeks and squeaked out a stinky teen boy fart on Justin Bieber. I wasn’t aware that 5SOS had a problem with Justin Bieber, but 5SOS is trying really hard to be hard (see: their whole Rolling Stone interview) and nothing says “badass” like the baddest boy in your boy band throwing a pinch of shade at the current hardest toddler on the daycare playground.

According to Michael Clifford, 5SOS crashed a party thrown by Justin Bieber after the American Music Awards, and it was about as annoying as you’d imagine an afterparty thrown by Justin Bieber would be.

“I think he hates us. It was fucking crazy, people standing on tables and shit. I probably shouldn’t say this, but he had his own album on loop for, like, two or three hours.”

You can’t see me, but I’m standing up and slow-clapping for Michael Clifford’s perfectly gossipy use of “I probably shouldn’t say this, but…“. God, I love a good “I probably shouldn’t say this, but…“.

Even though Justin Bieber is a big boy now, he still gets his feelings hurt when someone says a not-nice about him. So when he heard that one of the boys from 5SOS said a not-nice, The Mirror says he ran to Twitter and pouted up some fighting words before quickly yanking them down (but not before the internet caught it first).

Of course, teen Twitter fights usually end as fast as they begin, and Michael Clifford was eventually broing down with Justin Bieber.

I feel like that tweet could have used an “I probably shouldn’t say this, but…“, because really, no one should ever admit they’re a big fan of Justin Bieber.

But back to that “being badasses” thing. In case you needed any more proof that 5SOS is super badass, here is 5SOS’s Luke Hemmings hinting about getting tons of tour pussy:

“When you put four young dudes on a tour bus, playing theaters, then arenas, you’re going to have sex with a lot of girls, I guess. We had a good time.” Multiple girls in one night? “I feel like I shouldn’t say,” he says with a smirk. “You could say the possibility of that is high.” Multiple girls at the same time? “The possibility is high,” he says again. He cracks a devilish grin. “The possibilities are endless.”

And if that wasn’t enough to make you reach for the brain bleach, here’s 5SOS drummer Ashton Irwin talking about Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger creeping them all out. Apparently they worked on a song with him, and he spent most of his downtime topping up his spank bank.

“At the end of the day, he was like, ‘Shit, I feel stressed.’ He’s like, ‘You guys ever look up shit on the Internet?’ We’re like, ‘What type of shit?’ He’s like, ‘Girl stuff, like, hot girls dancing.’ So he goes on YouTube and writes ‘hot chicks dancing’ in the search. And we sat there watching hot chicks dancing. It was such a creepy dad-on-the-Internet move.”

Ugh. Now I have the mental image of Avril Lavigne slinking into Chad’s man cave behind a giant cardboard cut-out of a browser window and asking if he wants to take the safe search off. Thanks, 5SOS.
