Hot Slut Of The Day!

In honor of Halloween Eve Day, today’s HSOTD is the terrifying DIY project that was created in the Ninth Circle’s craft room. Reader Jennie L. dropped the jeans planter into my inbox after seeing it in A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. I haven’t seen Dream Child in thousands of years and I don’t remember anything about it, but I can still say that the jeans planter is the scariest thing in it. I don’t exactly know the history of the jeans planter, but I think it became a thing sometime in the 80s and many crafters thought (and still think) it’s a cute way to reuse old jeans. It’s supposed to be quirky and whimsical, but to me, it has always looked like thirty tons of creepiness.

Making this nightmare is pretty easy. Just stick a potted plant in some old jeans and fill the legs with stuffing. Or if you’re a murdering psychopath, hack your victim’s body in half, stick a plant where their torso used to be and let the plant feed off of their insides. It’s some Little Shop of Horrors shit. Even though the jeans planter is horrifying and looks like something you’d find in a nursery owned by Jeffrey Dahmer, it’s still a great addition to any backyard and will look perfect next to an exquisite toilet planter.
