Open Post: Hosted By Two Models Falling At The Givenchy Show

September 12, 2015 / Posted by:

Last night, Kris Jenner’s pimp sense started tingling and she got the feeling that, for two brief moments, everyone stopped looking at her attention-humping daughter. And now she knows why! During the Givenchy show at NYFW, two models ate shit as they pranced down the runway. The theme of the show was a tribute to 9/11, and I guess Riccardo Tisci was really committed to that theme, because the runway portion looked like a tour through the Freedom Tower during construction. And one of the obstacles the models had to tackle was a set of stairs made out of wooden pallets. If the workplace health and safety video I watched during my Canadian Tire warehouse training taught me anything, it’s that wooden pallet stairs are a no-no. Naturally, two models – Candice Swanepoel and Pooja Mor – took a tumble. Cue up the Culture Club!

Candace Swamphole later Instagrammed a picture of her busted knees. I hope she tagged Cellino & Barnes; get that personal injury compensation money!

You know what? I’m blaming Kanye West for this one. I’m sure he was the one whispering in Riccardo’s ear “I have a great idea. Make the models walk through a maze of garbage in a pair of untied shoes. Trust me, I’m a genius.
