Anna Duggar’s Parents Are Even “More Extreme” Than The Duggars

Josh Duggar checked into long-term treatment the other day after admitting that he cheated on his wife and after a porn star came forward claiming that she had rough, bareback sex with the Pillsbury Dough Douche. It turns out that the rehab facility Josh is in, is actually a Christian labor camp where he’ll spend the next few months studying the bible and doing labor. So, I’m guessing that a pastor type will scream “PORN IS BAD” at him while he makes a church pew out of plywood. So while he’s off becoming even more sexually repressed, his wife Anna Duggar has to raise their four kids without even thinking about looking at the exit door since she’s not allowed to leave.

As we all know, Anna is probably going to stand by her husband even though her older brother’s got a getaway car waiting in her driveway and is screaming at her to drop that pig. People says that there’s really no way Anna is going to leave Josh and that has a lot to do with the way she was brainwashed raised. A source tells People that Anna’s childhood was a lot more strict than Josh’s. No, that doesn’t mean her parents only allowed her to do the Christian side handshake with boys and made her wear a denim burka. But apparently, Anna had more rules than Josh.

“Anna and her siblings were always taught that if you follow these 10 steps or whatever, God would bless you.”

When Anna, now 27, met Josh at a Christian homeschooling convention back in 2006 when she was a teen, she wasn’t allowed to gush about him to her siblings. “That’s not something that’s shared amongst siblings,” says the source. “They always got 15-minute, one-on-one sessions with their mom every week. That was the time to share their feelings, but other than that they had to keep their feelings to themselves.”

One of Anna’s sisters is currently going through a divorce, but that doesn’t seem to be an option for her since both her parents and her in-laws are against it. When Anna and Josh got married, shit got even more serious. The source says that Anna went from living in a bubble to living in a bubble within a bubble. She’s becoming Michelle Duggar 2.0 and is even starting to speak in that creepy baby whisper voice. Oh God, stop the transformation before it’s too late and Anna is seen filling her cart at the Dollar General with generic gel and aerosol hairspray.

What’s even more sad is that the source says that Josh told her about his child touching ways before they got married, but she may not have really understood what he was saying. Josh didn’t tell her the full story and she also didn’t know some of the words that came out of his mouth.

“She was very sheltered with anything that came to physical relations or anything like that. She knew the words ‘rape’ or ‘abuse,’ but I don’t think she really understood what that even meant.”

Anna apparently asked her parents, “Abuse, what does it mean?”, but they told her to marry Josh anyway.

“They still gave their blessing. How she was brought up, if your parents gave their blessing then you pretty much marry the guy and that’s what God’s will is for you and what’s best for your life. So much of her belief was based on what her parents told her and not in the actual truth. She looked to her parents and they were okay with it, so she was okay with it.”

You know, I think I have a really old “Free Katie” t-shirt at the bottom of one of my drawers. I wonder how I can turn that into a “Free Anna” t-shirt?
