Okay, So Caitlyn Jenner Is Probably Not Going To Face Manslaughter Charges After All

Yesterday, everyone reported that there’s a 50% chance that Caitlyn Jenner will be charged with misdemeanor manslaughter for her role in the car crash on PCH that led to the death of Kim Howe. It was reported that investigators from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department are passing their report about the crash to the District Attorney’s Office next week and are recommending that Caitlyn and one of the other drivers should face charges. BUT WAIT! An inside source, whose title may or may not rhyme with “Matelyn Tenner’s Cublicist,” tells TMZ the exact opposite.

TMZ has been saying for a while that it doesn’t look like Caitlyn (seen above working the signature Kardashian frozen face) is going to go from being Pimp Mama Kris’ prisoner to being a prisoner of the L.A. county jail system. They’re saying it again. A law enforcement source tells TMZ that the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department is not recommending that Caitlyn be charged with manslaughter. The Sheriff’s Department report does say that even though Caitlyn was following the speed limit, she was driving too fast for the road conditions that day. But sources say that many people rear-end other cars because they’re not paying attention, and they don’t face charges for it. via TMZ

Law enforcement sources have told us for months … there’s a 50/50 chance charges will be filed. Some of our sources doubt she’ll be prosecuted, saying Jenner’s conduct was no different than that other drivers who are inattentive and rear end another car … the only difference is in Jenner’s case, the positioning of the cars sent the Lexus into a fatal trajectory.

As one law enforcement source put it … Jenner’s state of mind was the same as other drivers who screw up and rear end someone, and you prosecute people for their state of mind, not bad luck.

Once prosecutors get the case, they’ll decide whether or not to throw charges at Caitlyn.

Well, isn’t that good news? I mean, can you imagine if a rich famous ho was actually charged with something? This world would be turned upside/down and we’d all wander the land in a confused state while shouting, “This is not the world I know!”
