Taylor Swift On “The Sisterhood” And Kanye West “Respecting” Her

August 4, 2015 / Posted by:

Seen above looking like The Omen Barbie, Taylor Swift is on the cover of Vanity Fair’s September issue and during the interview, she queefs up words about her #girlsquad and how Kanye West and her became friends after he showed her the respect she deserves!

The “Imma let you finish, Taylor” thing happened a million years ago, but Vanity Fair brought up, because Taylor and Kanye are friendly now. Tay Tay became friends with Jay-Z and Jay-Z really wanted her and Kanye to be friends. Uh huh. Tay extended an olive branch to Kanye (no, really, she probably sent Kanye an actual olive branch from the olive farm in her backyard), but she couldn’t fully welcome him into her squad until he grew some goddamn respect for her.

“I feel like I wasn’t ready to be friends with [West] until I felt like he had some sort of respect for me, and he wasn’t ready to be friends with me until he had some sort of respect for me—so it was the same issue, and we both reached the same place at the same time. I became friends with Jay Z, and I think it was important, for Jay Z, for Kanye and I to get along. . . . And then Kanye and I both reached a place where he would say really nice things about my music and what I’ve accomplished, and I could ask him how his kid’s doing.”

Is the possessed marzipan doll capable of producing shade, because that last line felt like shade. I’m picturing Kanye silently exploding inside, because he just licked Taylor’s asshole and all she did was shrug and ask him about North West. Kanye probably wanted to explode completely but he was too busy wondering who North West is. But whatever, Kanye and Taylor are friends now and if he’s lucky, she’ll honor his birthday by Instagramming a picture of her boyfriend with him in the background.  Moving on to Taylor’s Sisterhood…

Taylor says that her Sisterhood is so tight and so important that they never let some dick get in between them:

“We even have girls in our group who have dated the same people. It’s almost like the sisterhood has such a higher place on the list of priorities for us. It’s so much more important than some guy that it didn’t work out with. When you’ve got this group of girls who need each other as much as we need each other, in this climate, when it’s so hard for women to be understood and portrayed the right way in the media… now more than ever we need to be good and kind to each other and not judge each other—and just because you have the same taste in men, we don’t hold that against each other.”

That shit sounds like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants meets a cult. I’m sure Taylor went on to say,” And if you leave the Sisterhood, you will be dead to the Sisterhood, you will be shunned, Instagram will cancel your account, Anthropologie will refuse to let you shop there and Starbucks will stop making a heart shape in your latte.”
