Hot Sluts Of The Day!

Los Bukis, the Mexican band who delicately yodeled out one of my favorite Mother’s Day songs!

In honor of the day that some of us pay tribute to the woman who pushed us out of her body and then put up with us for decades without completely losing her shit and changing her identity so we can’t find her, here’s a beautiful Hallmark Card of a lullaby to mothers from a group who are like a come-to-life bouquet of lilies. Based on that gorgeous picture of them killing the hair game while wearing their First Communion suits, you may think that Los Bukis means “The Butt Puckering Ones” in Spanish, but Wikipedia says it means “Little Kid” in P’urhépecha. They should’ve called themselves The Butt Puckering Ones, because that extremely hot Yanni Jesus-looking dude and the one with the afro mullet have probably made millions of b-holes pucker into a frenzy.

Los Bukis was started in the 1970s by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís and they stayed together until the mid 90s. I only know one of their songs, the mama je’e ballad “Te Amo Mamá” from 1995, because either one of my cousins or aunties played it all the time at Mother’s Day parties. If Los Bukis is the Boyz II Men of Latin pop, then “Te Amo Mamá” is their “Song For Mama.

The perfect thing to go with the $10 grocery store carnation bouquet and bottle of Strawberry Hill your cheap ass got your mom is a gorgeous interpretive dance to “Te Amo Mamá.” I would do one for my mom, but she’s cut back on drinking booze and it would be an act of torture against her if I did an interpretive dance for her while she was sober.

Happy Mutha’s Day to all you muthas. And to those of you who can’t stand your mom, Happy Annual Watching Mommie Dearest While Day Drunk Day!
