The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is supposed to be the Bruce Jenner of the Real Housewives franchise, which means that it’s supposed to be the elegant swan amongst a bunch of drunken, sloppy, can’t-act-right messes. I mean, it’s always been trash, but Bravo has said that the RHOBH is more about opulence and glamour and less about drunken wrecks ripping each other’s weaves out. But well, they brought back Brandi Glanville and added two actresses so may the glass throwing and trick slappin’ begin!
For season 5, Carlton, the piece of salmon jerky with witch powers, and that one with all that hair are out and Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson (aka Ashley from Young and the Restless) are in. The new trailer has everything from staged fighting to staged yelling to staged wine throwing to staged glass throwing to Harry Hamlin looking like he’s thinking to himself, “And to think, I was on fucking Mad Men.” The trailer also has this:
What in the hell kind of high school drama club slap is that? That wouldn’t even get a passing grade in beginners stage combat. If Bravo wanted RHOBH to have more fake slapping in it, they should’ve fired Brandi and hired Joan Collins, because she would’ve fake slapped that Mrs. Howell hat right off of Lisa’s head.
