LeAnn Rimes Made A Rape Joke And It Went Over Really Well

August 28, 2014 / Posted by:

In a video interview with Joan Rivers, (get well soon!), LeAnn Rimes (accompanied by her equally squinty husband) joked that she lost her virginity by raping her first boyfriend. She also referred to black people as “coloreds,” used the r-word to describe Becky on Glee, and beat her step-children in the checkout line at a K-Mart in Reseda. LeAnn’s a little tone-deaf as to what’s appropriate in society nowadays. (She didn’t actually do the stuff after the rape joke. Yet.)

Joan (who loves nothing more than a good rape joke seeing as she’s 235) asked LeAnn about losing her virginity back when she was a country ingenue (before her current incarnation as bikini-ed Twitter harridan).

“I was in Monte Carlo and I was 15?… 16… He was my boyfriend for like three and a half years so yeah, he was fine. I think I raped him. I think that’s how it happened,” she joked.

LeAnn also cracked a roofie joke earlier in the vid. Are LeAnn and her arch-enemy Brandi Glanville in some sort of race to see who can say the stupidest thing to get the most attention? Signs point to yes. Yep. Most definitely. Shit, LeeAnn better catch up.

As you might have guessed, rape jokes aren’t flying off the shelves in 2014. In an unusual (for her) move, LeAnn didn’t buck Atreyu off her back and fly from Fantasia to her Twitter to get self-righteous. She did, however, briefly Tweet back at a fan who said that she herself was a rape victim and supported LeeAnn.

Someone please cancel Eddie Cibrian’s “lquinn183” Twitter account. It’s not right.

Check out LeAnn and Eddie in Joan Rivers’ bed (rape joke at 12:00), and pics of them leaving a restaurant in Calabasas after obviously calling Splash. It’s truly thrilling.
