A Judge Rules That Jason Patric Can Fight For Paternity Of The Kid His Ex Made Using His Donated Sperm
About two years ago, Jason Patric’s life took a turn for the messy when he declared that he wanted custody of the little boy that his ex-girlfriend Danielle Schreiber got knocked up with by using his donated man chowder. Back in February 2013, a judge ruled that Jason Patric has no right to fight for custody, because he’s a sperm donor and nothing more. (“Awww, ‘sperm donor and nothing more’ is my pet name for Gabriel Aubry.” – Halle Berry) Jason appealed that decision and People reports that yesterday a different judge struck down that verdict from February and said that he isn’t only just a baby batter dispenser and he has every right to ask a court to declare him the kid’s legal father so he can try to get custody. In case you forgot or never filled your brain with the details of this wreck of a story, Jason and Danielle dated on and off for about 10 years, ending forever in 2012. During one of their break-up periods, Danielle asked Jason for a turkey baster full of his jizz. Jason claims he told Danielle he wanted to be a part of the kid’s life, but Danielle has a letter from Jason where he writes that he doesn’t want to be somebody’s father and he doesn’t want his name on the birth certificate. Jason said he wrote the letter out of frustration, because they were in the middle of a break-up. Danielle had a boy named Gus through IVF in 2009 and two years later, she and Jason got back together. They all went on vacations together and were like one big happy family until Danielle and Jason broke up for the ten millionth time in 2012. Jason wanted to stay in Gus’ life, but Danielle closed the door, locked it and told him to fuck off. She didn’t let him see Gus. So he took her to court.
In the LANDMARK RULING!!! yesterday, the judge said that because Danielle welcomed Jason into her son’s life, he can fight for paternity and try to get visitation rights. The trial will start up again shortly. A family lawyer who isn’t part of the case told People that Jason will probably win.
“I think this time around, Patric has a good chance of winning parental rights for the simple fact that, for a certain period of time, his ex-girlfriend encouraged Patric to have a relationship with the child and held him out as the father.”
So many assholian pieces of trash are trying not to pay child support and trying not to visit the slobbery kid they willingly created with their piece, and yet here’s Jason Patric begging to pay child support and to take care of a slobbery kid, and Danielle’s shooting him down. Crazy. What I don’t get is, if Jason really, really wants to take half responsibility of Gus, why wouldn’t Danielle take him up on his offer? I mean, solely for the fact that if Gus fucks up, she can blame Jason. And if Gus grows up hating the ones who raised him, he’ll hate both Jason AND Danielle. It’s always a good idea to have someone in your life whom you can turn to and say, “It’s your fault, bitch! You fucked him up!“
