Hot Slut Of The Day!

The Rubenesque, black-winged angel in a human organs catsuit from the video for Nirvana’s Heart-Shaped Box.

If you’re Facebook feed is anything like my Facebook feed, then it’s probably full of pictures of man nipples and cats, and today it’s probably full of Nirvana videos and statuses from your friends and cousins letting you know what they were doing on April 5, 1994 when they heard that Kurt Cobain had died. (FYI: One of my old co-workers was getting the “gnarliest” neck hickey in her then-boyfriend’s car when the news came on the radio. I needed to know this and you needed to know this.) I don’t remember what I was doing 20 minutes ago, so I can’t tell you what I was doing 20 years ago (Truth talk: Since it was 1994, I was probably shredding a pair of jeans into taint-hugging shorty shorts), but I watched a bunch of Nirvana videos this morning and remembered how much I loved the video for Heart-Shaped Box (Alternate Title: An Ode to Courtney Love’s Tar Pit Trap Pussy). It was just the kind of WTF shit that my barely teenage brain needed in 1993.

There are a few HSTODs in this video including the anorexic Santa Claus Jesus. But my favorite was always the fat Dot Marie Jones-looking  angel wearing a hot bodysuit by BODIES: The Exhibition. I don’t know what she represented, but I’m guessing she represented the joy that Kurt Cobain felt whenever he pulled his peen out of Courtney’s “meat-eating orchids.”

Here’s the full video and watching it will show you what it feels like to have a bad acid trip while watching a nativity show at your grandma’s church on Christmas Eve.
