Mr. Bucket is a toy that first came out in the early 90s, and then it was discontinued, and then it was decided in 2011 that the kids really need a toy that shoots balls out of its mouth, so it came back! The Mr. Bucket game is pretty simple. Mr. Bucket shoots balls out of his always open mouth and you have to run around, pick them up off the floor and drop them in his head. Yeah, it’s easy, but I’d still lose hard if I played today. As soon as Mr. Bucket shot out one of his balls, I’d pick it up and put it in my mouth. It’s instinct. Here’s the old commercial from the 90s and yes, it’s a mess:
The things we see now that we didn’t see as kids. Mr. Bucket is not right for singing about popping balls out of his mouth. You should never ever trust a bucket with Ronald McDonald arms.
