The Carol Kane-like chick from the Lifestyles Condoms commercial co-starring The Phantom of the Opera.

The other night, I spent an hour or two or whatever watching commercials from the 80s (because that’s definitely what you should do on a weekday night) and I watched this weird mess that I’ve never seen before. The Phantom of the Opera was like the it bitch of the 1980s, so someone at Lifestyles Condoms decided to put him one of their commercials. Why not? The Phantom of the Opera was probably getting a lot of ass so it only made sense.

In the commercial, the Phantom strolls into a drugstore to pick up some rubbers, because he’s totally going to make some (protected) music of the night with his date, and he runs into a chick who happens to be hanging out in front of the condom section. Yes, the Phantom totally dumped his date to get it on with this hot piece in the drugstore bathroom. And yes, I am really disappointed that Lifestyles didn’t go all the way by putting out Phantom of the Opera condoms that had a picture of a little white mask on the tip.
