Open Post: Hosted By Mama June’s Cranberry Goodness
Now that Paula Deen has been deen-throned as the Culinary Queen of Southern Cuisine, Mama June can finally crawl up to the throne and grab the butter, cheese ball and white sugar crown that has always belonged to her.
Our new Queen of Southern Cuisine started her reign by teaching us how to make her signature Cranberry Goodness. Cranberry Goodness is really just canned cranberry sauce lasagna and canned cranberry sauce lasagna is really just a bunch of canned cranberry slices and sugar. You probably should take a few courses at Le Cordon Bleu before attempting to make Mama June’s Cranberry Goodness, because it’s that hard. Mama June takes a foil try, covers the bottom with canned cranberry slices, sprinkles tons of sugar on top, adds another layer of canned cranberry slices, pours even more sugar on top and then lets all the sugar dissolve in the fridge. Difficulty: 0 (10 if you’re Sandra Lee).
Mama June’s Cranberry Goodness is a delicious way to get diabetes instantly! And let’s never ever EVER talk about Mama June’s Cranberry Goodness ever again, because you know what I’m thinking and I know what you’re thinking and Sugar Bear is licking his lips and…just no.
