Hot Slut Of The Day!

Jodi Draigie, the Juilliard graduate (I’m guessing) and underrated thespian of our time whose flawless and emotional delivery of the line “How do we know she IS alive?” in 1983’s The House on Sorority Row should be honored by the Academy every year and should be studied by drama students for centuries to come.

I bet you just assumed that she was alive until Jodi asked that plot-changing question. Jodi’s delivery of that line is like an onion inside of an onion inside of an onion inside of an onion inside of an onion. It’s layer after layer after layer and every layer is a raw emotion you didn’t know existed. The blinks…. the head tilt…. the frown… the way she says that line like she just rinsed her mouth out with ten jars of Anbesol… So deliberate yet so natural.

Fun fact: When they remade House of Sorority Row in 2009, Meryl Streep was offered the role that Jodi played, but she quickly turned it down, because well… How do you top perfection?

This was Jodi’s only credit, because saying that line was so emotionally draining that she left the industry. Besides, Jodie knew that there was no going up from there. She had touched heaven’s ceiling. This is her masterpiece and her legacy! Jodi now lives as a recluse on a secluded farm in the English countryside somewhere. You know, like all real and true artists.
