Open Post: Hosted By A Taco-Licking Taco Bell Employee

June 3, 2013 / Posted by:

After a picture of a Taco Bell employee licking a stick of taco shells was posted yesterday on Taco Bell’s Facebook page, shocked and appalled customers re-posted the picture over and over again in hopes of finding out who the dude is. They are disgusted by all of this! I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but when I shove a plastic spoonful of Pintos ‘N Cheese into my mouth, I know I’m swallowing some weird shit including a stranger’s DNA. The chemicals in the processed cheese kill most of the germs, so it’s okay!

Buzzfeed says that some Facebook users believe the picture was taken at a Taco Bell in California. Taco Bell also said that they’re investigating this highly important matter:

Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and team members, and we have strict food handling procedures and zero tolerance for any violations. When we learned of the situation we immediately contacted this restaurant’s leadership and although we believe it is a prank and the food was not served to customers, we are conducting a full scale investigation and will be taking swift action against those involved.

On second thought, what’s going on in that picture is pretty serious and shouldn’t be taken lightly. That kid should definitely get checked out and seek medical attention immediately. I mean, Michael Douglas got throat cancer from licking a taco and that dude is licking a whole stack of tacos AT ONCE.
