Let's all take a little time out from being bitches to awwwww all over more pictures from the Brooklyn set of Animal Practice of 2013's couple of the year: Tom Hardy and his pit bully puppy. Actually, these pictures make me want to be a bigger bitch, but I don't know who to be a bitch toward: the pit bull puppy for getting to lick on Tom Hardy's triple stuffed sausage lips or Tom Hardy for getting to hug that puppy. Let's just be bitches toward that jacket for getting to be near both of them. I hate that jacket.

I have such a thing about black people? You're right, I do. I think they are pretty swell. That doesn't mean I like all of them. Just like I don't like all of everyone from any one particular race. Parablesower, I don't know anyone else who knows Octavia Butler! SF isn't usually my cup of tea, but I have a book of her incredible stories! She deserves to be as well-known as Atwood.
I had a chance to see her a month before she died, but did not go. Talk about regrets!! But she is severely underrated. I wish she received more recognition- fabulous author!
Margaret Atwood is someone I put up there with Toni Morrison, in terms of sheer badassery and skillage (I am sure they would approve of my vocab).
I read "Cat's Eye" years ago, but I am probably due for a reread.

I just read bios by Cyndi Lauper, Keith RIchards and Etta James. All highly recommended (but the Keith RIchards one made me love him, crazy mf).
"The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy will always be one of my favorite books.
Just reread "The Blind Assassin" and "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. She's perfection.

TV, I'm a major Atwood fan. Have you read "Cat's Eye"? If you like Atwood you'll LOVE it. Also one of her first published novels (1969) was "The Edible Woman". I don't ever hear Atwood fans say much about it but I loved it and have reread it 2 or 3 times.
