Open Post: Hosted By Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace And A Pit Bull Puppy
Tom Hardy and the pit bull puppy (I think it's the same one) are back, but they left the sweater at home and brought Noomi Rapace with them instead. Tom, the future Oscar-winning pit bull and Noomi all shot scenes for Animal Rescue at a Petland Discounts in Brooklyn the other day. IMDB says that Animal Rescue is a "crime-drama centered around a lost pit bull, a wannabe scam artist, and a killing." Let's just pretend that plot summary is a decoy and it's really about a man (Tom Hardy) who rescues a pit bull puppy (that puppy) and then sets up a puppy cam for it. The rest of the movie is just scenes from the puppy cam and every 30 seconds or so, Tom Hardy will dance naked in the background. Throw in a soundtrack by ABBA and that's the perfect movie.

hope you're doing better today. feel for you, it is very hard to try to "re-train" someone who doesn't want it and is fearing a loss of control over all parts of their life. i had my stepmother's power of attorney for a couple of years before she died, it was absolute hell

p.s. i generally don't do casseroles but i may try your pork dish bec it looks so good. may go w/shredded pork inst of ground though

Nobody better be hatin' on Noomie.....that girl has got it going on, and can kick ass with the best of them....she kicked over that hornet's nest, played with fire and won, and has a fierce dragon tattoo...I've only watched the trilogy 1100 times on netflix...they need to keep on keeping on with that movie series...

Thank's WR! It's be a long and difficult road. What I feel is relief more than anything over the accomplished feeling I would assume one would get. There are people who enjoy it, which is great, but some people just aren't meant for college in terms of personality/temperament/stress. And I am definitely one of those people, I just managed to stick it out and finish.Honestly, I think my relatives are more excited over the ceremony than I am.

Yes ma'am I officially finished last fall, but the ceremony isn't until the end of May. I have to go down and put a deposit down on my cap and gown! My mom slipped me 100 bones to pay for it, and do whatever I wanted with the rest. I planned on buying a Shirt or a Hoodie with the schools logo on it, but that money went to other things instead. :))

The monitor's wrong, this/that is wrong, the doctor told her something he didn't tell me, a nurse did this when she was in hospital and everything was fine, she been doing this for years, never had problems blah blah blah. It's okay dude. Honestly, I have a mother(younger, but still as hardheaded) just like that. Sticks her head in the sand to everything. Her blood issues, her other dietary issues, issues with my brother...everything. Refuses to listen, refuses to change for the health and betterment of herself, shits on anyone who's actually trying to help her out. So at this point I would just say fuck it. No sense in having them drag down your health to match their failing health.

Popped the pan into a 400 degree oven for 25 mins. Buttered the top when it was done and pigged out. Oh so good, yummers.

I'm still pissed about the bottles breaking. The amount of groceries, I blame myself for that, but the shit falling out,totally their fault. I would have been exhausted either way, but at least my groceries wouldn't have busted through the bag if they were packaged properly, who single bags 4 glass beverages with a gallon of milk? i was trying to rearrange other groceries from other bags to place the items from the busted bags on the side of the ROAD! I was walking home when more items fell out, and I had to stop and pick them up...it was frustrating, exhausting and embarrassing. I didn't even eat dinner. The whole thing has raised my stress levels so high that my appetite is non-existent. Okay enough ranting...On the bright side I do get to go down to my college and put a deposit on my cap and gown! :)

Poor IF, so sorry you have to fast right now, you'd love what I made for dinner. It was real easy, maybe you can whip it up when you're done.
I cut up 4 carrots, 2 ribs of celery, diced 1 onion, 1 turnip. I browned a lb of ground pork in a cast iron pan til only a little pink showed and set it aside in a bowl.
Then I dumped almost a whole pkg. of sliced mushrooms in the pan and sauteed them for 5 mins. in butter and a little oil, salted a bit. Then I tossed the veggies in, moved them around til the carrots got a little soft, added a cup of chicken broth and let it simmer for 2,3 mins.
While the veggies simmered I whipped up two boxes of corn bread mix, added the pork, stirred it into the veggies and poured the cornbread mix over the whole thing. Popped the pan into a 400 degree oven for 25 mins. Buttered the top when it was done and pigged out. Oh so good, yummers.
