Banana Now and Later!
I couldn't tell you why I woke up this morning with a level 4 craving for Banana Now and Laters, but for some reason I did. It's probably because my body is craving more healthy fruit, and a Banana Now and Later definitely counts as a 100% fruit item. It doesn't even really taste like a banana. It tastes like a dried square of sugar that a banana farted on once. Banana is still the best Now and Later flavor hands-tongue-and-feet down and if you disagree with me it's obviously because there's something wrong with your palate. Get it fixed and then taste the love for Banana Now and Laters. (Or maybe there's something off with my palate and I'm the gross one. Well, if loving Banana Now and Laters means I have an off palate, then I don't want a right palate.)

I also remember banana-flavored B-B-Bats. They were filling-extracting and cavity inducing taffy lollipops that cost a penny. A good investment because they lasted a long time. Like the Sugar Daddy's: An hour's worth of fun for a nickel.

Banana Now and Laters are the best, and not sure if anyone else on here is OLD and remembers, but they taste just like the "banana" Jell-O Pudding Pops which have since been discontinued. Banana Pudding Pops should be HSOTD. Bring them back, Kraft!

I don't like bananas, and I hate artificial banana flavoring. Blech. I didn't even know mint Now and Laters existed.
I LOVE banana flavored anything. I pulled out I don't know how many fillings over Banana Now Laters and probably single handedly paid for my dentist's Porsches.
My favorite was banana flavored Wacky Wafers. I read they were actually going to be made again!!!!!

anyone remember Banana Bikes candy? - it was similar, or was that just a Chicago thing? I think the company that made them was Beich's and they prolly thought we were to ignorant to pronounce it right (they were correct) so they called them Bikes ... same wonderful fake banana flavor found nowhere in nature
Banana flavored candy is gross. Might as well eat circus peanuts. I liked the green apple, watermellon and cherry. Then spent an hour extracting it from your teefs.
I think they actually sell it at Rite Aid! But I'm and orange flavored gal all the way!!

I grew up in Cincinnati and Now & Laters rule! Just one problem--they dont sell them out here where I live now, in Colorado. Damn!
I loved the cherry/apple combo flavor. I miss my Now & Laters sooooo much. :'(

I used to hang with a lot of black friends when I was 8...they used to call them Nialators. And I would call them that, and my mother would go "what the hell are you saying"? Then I would show her the package and she would yell at me to pronounce them right!
By the way...it's always Apple and Strawberry! Banana always tasted like some Lab Chemical.

They really were gross, but they were cool and you got excited over them. The kid with the now & laters was the hit of the playground.
I'll take fruit flavored candy over chocolate any day of the week, but Now and Later's will absolutely destroy your teeth.

I think I'm the only person who hates Now and Later. I guess it's because I hate taffy plus they all taste virtually the same.
Sorry,MK but green apple is the greatest Now and Later Flavor of all time. I'm pretty sure that these candies were the source of my childhood cavaties. I ate these and Starburst on a daily basis.

Yes, grape Now and Laters were the shit! The banana ones tasted like wax to me.
The grape are good, too. Neither flavor vaguely resembles the real thing, of course.
Also, when I was eating very "clean" all the time, even a bite of something artificially flavored would make that flavor repeat on me for hours.
