Brian Wilson is so crazy hot.

I don't know what to think of Brian, but he's very SF. I--and the Giants--am not sure he can come back from his surgery.

YAZ! HB TO THE BEARD!

HB Nancy Wilson! A friend went to a Heart reunion show and said it was the best thing he'd even seen, practically no one under 30 to be found anywhere and everybody rocking. I'm sure everybody under 30 would say that sight would be the most pathetic thing they'd ever seen......

always thought Blu Cantrell was a cool stage name, much better than Tiffany Cobb.

Happy birthday Victor Garber! Does anyone remember him on the Canadian show "E.N.G"? I knew that he was going to be huge someday.

*bows and touches the hem of Nancy Wilson's garment* HB goddess!

Hi Foxxy! When I saw her (registered under a pseudonym) I thought of Wayne and Garth "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!"
Here she gets a long instrumental intro to a dream-like song. She's still so damn pretty (and her sister's very cool as well)!

Brian Wilson is super hot, but he was a lot hotter when he had stubble and a mohawk instead of the long just for men dyed beard.

Happy 60th to Isabelle Huppert!

(French wikipedia gives her birth year as 1953 and I also saw the wonderful "Les Sœurs fâchées" last night on TV, shown on the occasion of her 60th. So there.)

Lucie -- OMG, that version of "Dracula" is my favorite ever, camp or not. And the sex scene with Dracula is too hot for words.

cocoebert -- I adore "The Conformist," or "La Conformista" one of the most gorgeous movies I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe it's not more popular or referred to more often. Every scene in that movie is a work of art. The sets, the clothes, the music, just gorgeous. I applaud you for your great taste, hon.

HB to Bernardo Bertolucci!
Speaking of Italian cinema, right now I'm watching all three seasons of "Elisa di Rivombrosa" series, and I'm simply enchanted, lots of passionate naked blue-eyed Italian men, too gorgeous for words. This is the stuff the dreams are made of.

Good (evening) que cochina! ♡

Lucifer_Sam's picture

Hey Twatty ♡ I absolutely LOVE that film. We had it on Betamax as kids, and when I watched it for the first time as an adult I couldn't stop laughing at how campy it was. Still, it's better than the 1992 one.

You're not wrong - Nelligan played Lucy Seward. But they mixed up all the characters and their roles, so Lucy Westenra (book) became Lucy Seward, and the part she played was Mina's part in the book. I'm just used to referring to their book names. Frank Langella was perfect as Dracula, and one of my first crushes. How HOT was that scene where he shows up to dinner and goes, "Good evening"? Yum!

Hekki's picture

Thank you, Dion! That was servicey! I thought he was related to Owen and Luke. He sounds like a cool dude, I suppose. He sure is fighting the hot, though.

My favorite Brian Wilson is responsible for some of the best American music ever, and one of the sweetest love songs ("God Only Knows").

But happy wishes to this one.

Happy Birfday to Flavor Flav who is quite a character

And to Chuck Woolery. Chuck was such an easygoing natural host. He could talk to anyone and was funny, too. What a pro.

Okay DListers, not surprised you don't recognized Brian Wilson. He was the closer for the San Fran Giants.
Why you might like him: He did a good job as their pitcher. He's gay friendly. He doesn't take himself too seriously. He has nice eyes and bod.
Why you might not like him: Some think he tries too hard and it comes off douchey. He's Christian, but not self-righteous about it.
I like the pink, bedazzled bat he designed.
HB to him and the other BDay slores except that asshat Jerry Lewis.

Happy Birthday, Poncherello!

Ecce Homo's picture

Nancy Wilson (more Room Service To.The.Stars!) was friendly, casual and cool as hell. Bonus points for ordering the biggest steak we had and serving it to her humungous dawg. Love her and her music!

Bernardo Bertolucci: I know far less of his art than I should but if he only made Little Buddha and the Last Emperor, he'd have more than earned his place in film history. (bows down)

Kate Nelligan: what's she up to lately? She can be a terrific actress in drama and comedy (Fatal Instinct is one of my favorite stupid comedies)

Happy B'Day to these and all the others on the list!

Oh right, the asshat pitcher with the dyed beard who made those really stupid Taco Bell commercials. Because Taco Bell has such hipster street cred. {{rolls eyes}}

BernardProfitendieu's picture

what a nasty looking man!

guess being referred to as "Brian Wilson - no, the other one" every day has forced him to try to look distinct - he should rethink that

... and isn't the whole hipster/beard thing a little extra embarrassing when you're over 30?

Morning Twatty & evening Luci! Happy Saturday. Are we the only ones conscious today?!

Twat Muffin's picture

Lucie & que cochina -- hey, babes! Lucie, I love that "Dracula" movie, mostly because I thought Frank Langella was so hot as Dracula. The thing that ruined the movie was Donald Pleasance being such a clown as Dr. Seward, and I think Kate Nelligan played Lucy Seward, too, but I may be wrong.

Sorry I don't recognise any Brian Wilson except the Beach Boy.

HBD Kate Nelligan, who played Lucy Westenra on the most low-rent broke down Dracula film ever.

Bon anniversaire a Isabelle Huppert, a fine Madame Bovary, and Nancy from Heart. HEY LAAADDDYYY! Jerry Lewis. If you've never seen him in Scorcese's "King of Comedy," rent it. He and DeNiro are great, and it's supposedly Marty's least popular film cause there are no heroes. I first saw Kate Nelligan in a version of Zola's Terese Rauquin - creepy, haunting. Happy birthday all.

Twat Muffin's picture

HB to Bernardo Bertolucci, director of two of my favorite movies, "The Conformist" and "Last Tango in Paris." What a remarkably talented guy! And HB to Isabelle Huppert, an immensely talented actress.
