Because neither Clinton nor Stacy have given birth to a litter of 19 gypsy babies from Georgia, TLC dumped What Not To Wear into the donation bin after 10 seasons. So if you want to get revenge on your worst enemy by nominating them for a makeover so that hairstylist can buzz their hair off and Clinton and Stacy can dress them like an awkward prison matron going on a first date, you'll have to find another show! Because that mess is dead.
In honor of What Not to Wear's death, let's pay homage to the first season's host. Wayne Scot Lukas was only on the first season with Stacy London and Clinton Kelly replaced him in the second season, because they just couldn't handle his beauty and it slowed down production when everyone in the room passed out every time he flipped his luscious mane. The only thing I remember about Wayne Scot Lukas is that he always wore a lifeguard sweater and pretty much creeped out all the hos he made over. He was the entertainment.
My guess is that Hocus Pocus-looking ass bitch Stacy London had him fired because she was jealous of his beauty. Obviously.

Aw, man. I used to watch this show with a friend of mine, and myself sometimes, and when utterly bored I would still watch it on TV now sometimes, once in a blue moon.
I guess it ran its course, anyway. It was pretty repetitive. But, worse, was when the worst of the heinous sea hags would always predictably be so freaking stubborn and cry or try to refuse cutting their five-foot-long hair or whatever. I'm no fashion diva but those people were so annoying.
And Trading Spaces! How about Paige (?) and that stupid, awful helmet hair haircut that she had pretty much the whole show. Does she still have it now, I wonder?
About time! I can only watch this show if I dvr it and fast-forward through the commercials and shopping segments. Don't get me started on Stacy. Had a run in with her years ago at a charity event. She scolded my solid black shirt because "redheads should never wear black" and tried to get me to trade in my jeans for $250 tan corduroys. I bet Wayne wouldn't have told me that judging by his outfit.
Remember Trading Spaces on TLC? Loved that mess. Hilary was my favorite because she would fuck up someone's house n a minute by gluing feathers and records on the black walls she painted. That was when TLC rocked.
Wow, Inused to watch this show al the time and just barely remember this guy. I think Clinton and Stacy worked well together. This guy, if I remember correctly, was kind of a bitch. I. Think Clinton is a sweetheart.

Meh. I did enjoy the show to a point - but after a while I noticed they just made everybody look boring. I'm sorry I missed this guy tho, how precious!
I remember this guy too. He looked all kinds of bad...long dirty blonde hair and a logo sweatshirt. He looked like a stay at home mom and he had the nerve to throw shade at the "victims". One woman told him, "You should talk, look at you" or something close to that. Brava, I thought.

I always fantasy about having those closets in magazines where everything is tailored and it is like ten items with elegant matching accessories. NOT the double closet full of cheap off rack items that no longer fit and the pile of "will fit" again ( if i go back in time)
Ah, I used to watch that show religiously. But I also used to love the old version of "How Do I Look?" when they had Finola Hughes as the host. Later it sucked. My big wish was to get on WNTW because I'd LOVE to get paid $5000 to throw away all my cheap rags from Forever 21 and Target and get some real damn clothes.
I love Clinton and Stacy! I couldn't stand Wayne, MK is right...all he did was flip his hair. I really started to like Stacy when she opened up about her scars from her skin disease- how her skin was so delicate and would tear, she said nobody was perfect and she just wanted to help bring out someone's best features.

I used to love this show but stopped watching when TLC kept on pushing that horrible jon and kate show. It started to get annoying too with the ungrateful assholes who kept bitchin about getting their ugly rags tossed.
I don't know why I thought bad guy from Ghostbusters 2. I never watched this show.

Don't know this guy. Must have missed that first season. Too bad about WNTW. That was the only show I watched on TLC. I like both Clinton and
Stacey. Some of the makeovers were too high maintenance for some of the women though.

I only caught bits & pieces of the show, but I couldn't stand that Stacy chick. I agree that TLC hasn't lived up to it's name in quite some time. And, when I think of the network, I automatically think of freaks.

Yes, yes and more yes! I watched every original episode of Wayne's gloriousness and LOVED it! I just couldn't when they brought on Clinton, he was too white bread. Wayne just flew too close to the sun, too soon.

I don't love this new celebrity version. No doubt these people need makeovers, but NO. I liked it when they had REAL challenges (like the butch firefighter) and crazy personalities of real women.
I love the show and think their advice is typically pretty good, but the one thing I don't understand are the sleeveless outfits on women with huge arms. Is that really flattering the body?
And sometimes the hair changes are bad -- seems like they are always dying the several shades darker and the color is usually too dark for them.
OMG how was I unaware of this beauty until now? Bring him back! I stopped watching this show a long time ago but recently saw one of the makeovers and she looked so dorky. Like they made her over from a slob to a nerd. Weird.

Fuck TLC. God, their freak shows have reached epic proportions. That's how I'll know them - as the "let's parade out the freaks, dwarves, deviants, gypsies and polygamists" network. I'll never watch TLC again.

Poor dude. I don't remember him, and I've been a fan of that show forever -- and that includes the British original with Trinny and Susannah.
HOWEVER. Clinton Kelly is a treasure, and he and Stacy work so well together, maybe it's for the best.
The other day, that food show he's on did a segment with him and his husband in their apartment and they were adorable. They have a dog named Mary. *dies*
