Allison Williams Wants Jennifer Lawrence To Be Jealous Of Her
Allison Williams, who is best known for being Brian Williams' daughter and for playing Miranda on the reboot of Sex and the City called Girls, talked to The Los Angeles Times (via Gossip Cop) about getting into the acting game. Allison said that her parents wouldn't let her audition for stuff until she was out of college and watching Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls made her think that she was never going to make it since she didn't start acting when she was still in Pampers. Allison realized that it's not that kind of game and then said some seriously delusional shit about Jennifer Lawrence.
"When 'Mean Girls' came out, I just thought Lindsay Lohan was genius. I didn't understand how I could ever come close to that if they didn't let me start young. I've come to realize it's not a zero-sum game. When I see performances like Jennifer Lawrence's in 'Silver Linings Playbook,' I think, 'God, what a great role.' But maybe, just maybe, she watches 'Girls' and maybe, just maybe, she wishes she was on 'Girls.'"
So when Allison Williams, who should've been born in the 70s because she could've been the Breck Girl of all Breck Girls, is brushing her hair a hundred times while watching Girls, she's thinking about how Jennifer Lawrence might also be brushing her hair a hundred times while wishing that she was on Girls? Bitch needs to stop, drop and roll right out of here. Like Jennifer Lawrence really wants to piss on the train tracks and snot into a bath tub for a TV show on HBO! ......Actually, Jennifer Lawrence probably wants to do all those things and she'd do it for a fat j and a McDonald's cheeseburger.

Jennifer Lawrence wants to be on "Girls" as much as I want to get a pap smear from a random homeless man. I liked season 1 of the show but I might have to stop watching because these girls, namely Lena Dunham and Allison Williams, are so delusional and in love with themselves it's actually quite repulsive. Jennifer Lawrence won a Golden Globe and an Oscar all without having to play second fiddle to Lena Dunham on "Girls" or have a series of awkward and borderline repulsive sex scenes like Williams. Also, Jennifer Lawrence isn't the daughter of famous parents. Her talent is raw, innate, and rather rare. She didn't have Brian Williams as a daddy or Lindsay Crouse and David Mamet as parents. She worked for her success and there is no way on earth she sits around watching HBO wishing she could play a whining narcissist on an HBO series. Allison Williams is deluded. She thinks she is famous for her Mad Men song on Youtube. She doesn't have that great of a voice and she's annoying. She is where she is because her dad is Brian Williams.
i think this series is a good life lesson giver in an ironic way, i mean you watch the show and then make it you goal to avoid behaving/doing/saying whatever any of the characters in this series say/do..I hear/see similar, more outrageously idiotic,self-indulged,"i'am-an-artist","my shit don't smell but your pants are full of it","i'm a free spirited girl, i'm allowed to do whoever i want (but my boyfriend isn't in fine print letters)",hipsteric,full of shit,selfish stuff from the people around me in daily basis so i can relate to this series in a really realistic/funny way
When will this show be over? It must hold the record for having the most-shoved-down-our-throats cast members in modern history. Makes me long for the days of Lance Kerwin and "James At 15" (yes, I'm old).
so am i the only one who finds Lena's body type cute and clumsy in an adorable way and find the use of her nudity in the series refreshing? I mean sorry to bust people's bubble but this is what most normal girls look like without their clothes on..

Exactly. I chortle disgustedly whenever someone uses Mean Girls as evidence that Lindsay has talent; I don't remember her at all in the film, but I remember Rachel McAdams and the others.

I like the show Girls and I think Lena Dunham is great but every bish on that show got her job because of nepotism, no lie. JLaw has talent and, now, an Oscar. But I don't think this girl is Oscar material either. She plays the same thing in Girls and she doesn't have an acting history except some improv where she went to school.
I also agree with JayHawks97 - this show reminds me of my early-mid 20's in Brooklyn. A lot.

Kissingass--My husband is horrified that I watch it and am like, well, kind of lived that. With less sex. People can dislike/not watch. I find it an interesting wake up call about how ridiculous and entitled I was in my 20s. In the 90s.

I think season 2 has been awesome, the last episode about OCD was great and I really related to it because a lot of my anxiety issues have been suddenly coming back and I really felt for Hannah in it.
