Hot Slut Of The Day!
The Ice Cream Punch Toy from the 1980s and beyond!
There's not much to the Ice Cream Punch Toy. It was an ice cream ball made of foam on top of a plastic cone. You bought one for two quarters or maybe a dollar at the 99 Cent Store or from the liquor store (Side note: Where I grew up, we called the "deli" the "liquor store" from some reason). You were supposed to pretend to lick on the Ice Cream Punch Toy and since that foam ball looked SO MUCH like a real scoop of ice cream, your friend would ask you what flavor you were eating and you'd point it at them, pull the trigger and the foam ball would punch them in the face. But since everybody knew what was up and it looked nothing like real ice cream, we'd just attack each other with it. Our parents would laugh as we hit each other over the head with the foam ball and strangled each other with the cord. Basically, it was Chris Brown's favorite toy as a kid.

Yes! I went and bought one!!!
love your definition of "deli" = "liquor store." Bahahahaha!
When I lived in DC, there were a number of liquor store/delis!
We would get those toys in goody bags. They would fall apart after using it one time.
One time when I was little my grandparents took me to a fundraiser breakfast put on by the Shriners (this was in Florida). It was buffet style so by the end of it I had a pretty decent sized tray with pancakes, eggs, orange juice, etc. I remember I was really focused on the tray and making sure I didn't spill anything when out of nowhere a clown came up and shot one of those ice cream cones at me as a joke. I ended up dumping my entire tray of food all over myself, I guess as I attempted to use my tray as a shield.
Seeing this post brought back a flood of memories, mainly why I distrust clowns.
excellent post.. AS ALWAYS

Anyone remember knockers? Not the boring ones made with plastic. I'm talking about the knockers with 2 glass(?) or porcelain balls at the end of strings. The ones that when you didn't knock them together, you'd end up with bruises. Ahh .. those were fun! Wish I could find those again.

Maggie69, yeah those were the bomb. Major damage done with those, ie. knocked out teeth, stitches in eyebrow and smashed fingernails. Aw, good times. They don't make toys like they used to.

Yes! I had one ONCE when I was a kid. I think it's all about the texture, not the flavor.

Punch away
This is the kind of shit I won't waste money on, so my kids think I'm mean. But I know. They'll play with it for five minutes and then forget it. Waste of money.
When they get crap like this in goody bags at birthday parties, it gets thrown in the garbage the next time I'm alone in the apartment.
Another toy I don't recognize. Damn, I'm old.

mariah's mother was kicked out of her well-to-do family for marrying a colored dude even after they divorced.
^^^^^^^^^^^^
For real? JFC, people are so stupid. They should have kicked her out of the family for birthing such a vacuous dumbbell, not because of who fathered her.

yes. their taste never lived up to their look.
we got shit like that at the goya mart where they'd had foreign foods and candies that were so colorful and yet tasteless.

...the end
Did Mimoo say her Mamoo went to Julliard? I see that expensive, haughty education went to a lot of good use, since Mimoo grew up in a trailer park.

What the hell are you supposed to do with this thing? It's like a plastic turd. Fun but ultimately useless.

I got mine at the circus. I loved that thing so much. My foam "ice cream" disintegrated and so it turned into a cone with a hard plastic projectile which I was forced to throw away.

Michael K had a seriously twisted childhood. It's amazing that you ended up so normal.
We also called the liquor store the deli.
How did I never have one of these????? I grew up on the 80's.
We entertained ourselves by licking ring pops, then sticking them on people's arms, legs and face. Hahaha. It would leave a nice big round spot in the color of your choice. :)
