Open Post: Hosted By The Classiest Look Of The Night
Halle Berry instantly became my Best Dressed of the Golden Globes last night when she walked onto the red carpet looking a train full of crazy and a train full of tacky crashed into her at the same time. Halle finally wore a gown that perfectly describes her current mental state. That mess of a dress was designed by Donatella Versace, but it looks more like one of Ed Hardy's used cum rags. I swear I've seen that same pattern on a muscle t-shirt worn by a douchebag who was bouncing his head to a techno song in his electric yellow BMW while stopped at a red light.
Everything about Halle's dress is demure from the slit to the cut out to the way the bottom of her dress looks like a dirty clear shower curtain. That's what my clear shower curtain looked like after I washed the red Manic Panic out of my hair. And if Halle wanted to wear a dress that made her left tit look like it was clinging to her right tit out of fear, she picked the right one! Who wouldn't want to wear a dress that makes their titties look like they're doing the slow wall slide to the right? Wall slide titties are so in right now.
And back to the slit. We're still witnessing the effects of St. Angie's fame whoring leg of 2012. See: Halle Berry, Rosie Huntington-Whateverly, Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria.

I missed everyone on here but I needed a break. We all hoped my BIL was in the clear with his kidney being removed in November. However, the cancer is in his bones and there is some indication that its has spread to his brain too.
At this point it is palliative care to help with the immense pain.
My sister is trying to be strong for the kids but its taking a toll. My eldest nephew is not eating and his younger brother is a zombie.

I think she is just being a drama queen. I have cashmere and I was it in a soap you can get anywhere. Woolite should work.
Handwashing is best, however. That is what I do for most of my delicate stuff. It's annoying, but it prolongs the life!

Wow, I get some really great tips from everyone. I didn't know one could use woolite or dryel sheets to clean cashmere. I'm going to try that next time. Thanks!!!! I've always sent my sweaters to the dry cleaners. However, if anyone needs a cheap and good dry cleaners on the upper east side, go to Po Yee cleaners on 78th st. They are by far the cheapest I've been to in the area. $2.50 or $3.50 (can't remember) per sweater, compared to the $6.50 and up I used to pay elsewhere. Pants are about $3.00 or $3.50 vs. double that at other places.

I was being optimistic and decided to wear my fall coat today, no sweater, cuz I'm brave like that, olol. Teeth were chattering and hands were shaking. Hey, I saw people in t-shirts this weekend, totally nuts. Yeah, I feel bad for people up North, can't even fathom how cold ass -40 is. MF Jeeze.

Tell me about it, this time of year sucks giant donkey balls. I get so depressed. The time change, the lack of sunlight, and here, we have bipolar weather. It was literally in the 70s 2 days ago, and now it's in the 40s. It then rained 4 days straight, with flash flooding, and is expected to rain more.
I went out today in a sweater, with no scarf or beanie to cover my ears(they are sensitive as hell) and the wind just ripped through my chest and ears, my eyes are already watering. *Tosses WR a snuggie and some hot chocolate*

I just decided that I was tired of feeling like crap (and not looking my best either). I figured, why not just fucking GO FOR IT, and see what I can make happen? Transformation is very possible. Ah I see, I sort of remembered an overseas conection there somewhere. It's cold in Texas? I thought Texas was always 142 degrees in the shade every day:)
Ho horz - I hope you don't mind if I babble about some little things I'm excited about...I've made a couple of health-related changes. First, I started physical therapy for the neuropathy in my left foot (that was caused by the sciatica)and I'm pleased to say I am making progress, which means soon I can start exercising for real again! Second, I quit smoking, again (none since last Tuesday)! Third, I gave up my nightly wine habit. I was drinking a lot o' damn wine, and I was getting puffy, like Blowhan. Fourth, I've cut sugar/carbs down to almost nothing. And lastly, I've switched my medication from something that has weight gain as a side effect (I've gained at least 30 ding-dang pounds) to one that does not, and is in fact slightly stimulant and may promote weight loss. All of these things combined have me feeling rather awesome! Although, I AM peeing out gallons of retained water (which is good).
I have felt so bloated and listless and blocked-up and cruddy for so long... now I am beginning to feel clear and light and energetic once more, and I am just incredibly grateful for that. Ahhh.
