I'll admit Bowie's Fame and Let's Dance sound real cheesy today but not back then.
And everybody was trying to cash in on disco/black music, remember Bennie and the Jets? (The Stones got it right, btw.) But Bowie's other dance influenced stuff was some classic stuff IMO. Young Americans, Stay, stuff like that holds up very well. Dude is a true chameleon.
