Just ignore the title of the video. This isn't a FUNNY DRUNK ASIAN FAIL, this is a FUNNY DRUNK ASIAN WIN. (The real drunk half-Asian fail was me passing out at 12:02am in a saliva puddle on the sofa pillow while watching House Hunters after getting drunk on just one and a half glasses of champagne. Frying my gutter water-soaked brain under the sun all day turned me into a lightweight. At least that's what I'm telling myself.)
This video is two years old (approximately, 196 in Internet years), but it's making the rounds now and it's the perfect way to start the New Year right (read: drunk). At a Green Day show in Irvine two years ago, a pre-rehabbed Billy Joe Armstrong pulled an Asian sensation on stage and the dude dropped a fuck bomb and did the Horatio Cane before stage doing a lukewarm stage dive.

Well, try to be edgy and snarky when you live in a castle and have caviar for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think becoming mainstream is a logical process.

It's not because they made it big that they are sellouts in my opinion, to me they changed their sound to sound more main stream in order to appease a wider audience than the ones they already had,instead of keeping their sound, and not because they wanted to "evolve". A lot of bands get more poppy and radio friendly so they divert from what they use to play. Also because they are arrogant douchebags. That's my opinion.

I like green day. They always let people on stage, usually to play an instrument (and get kicked off if they lied about being able to play just to get on stage).
I don't know, it seems most bands that make it big are labeled sell outs. Who cares?

I haven't really been interested in GreenDay since Dookie. And even though I dislike Justin Beiber, Billy Joe is a fucking asshole, and I don't know where he gets his high and mighty attitude considering a lot of people consider them a sell out.

Good thing I read the story fully before commenting on how good Billy Joe looks being fresh out of rehab. But instead I have to say Billy Joe today looks like crap compared to the Billy Joe of 2 years ago. Here's to hoping he has a better year than last.
