Grandma Evelyn Clint Arbuckle (as voiced by Pat Carroll aka Ursula), Jon's motorcycle-driving, chainsaw-wielding, gourmet-cooking hot grandma on Garfield's Thanksgiving Special!
Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving Special airs every damn year and it aired again last night, because Charlie Brown will forever be an attention whore who has to claim every holiday as his own. But even though Charlie Brown is in our faces every year, we should remember the other legendary holiday specials like Garfield's Thanksgiving Extravaganza, which features a very important cameo by Grandma Arbuckle. Grandma Arbuckle was only in Garfield's Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes, but she's the one who made those two episodes extremely special events.
In Garfield's Thanksgiving Special, Jon's dumb ass completely screws up dinner and he's afraid his stoned lady piece Liz is going to get mad at him. So he calls up Grandma Arbuckle to save the day and she roars in on her bike. Grandma Arbuckle, who's obviously the style icon of that fancy cake lady, is a tornado of hyper energy and she's probably like that because she mixes liquid meth into her Metamucil (Methamucil?). Grandma Arbuckle should probably take a hit from Garfield's bong to calm down, but then she wouldn't have been able to whip up Jon's Thanksgiving dinner in ten seconds flat.
We should all take tips from Grandma Arbuckle, because this methed-out memaw knows how to make a Thanksgiving dinner (click to the 7:05 mark):
Okay, I take back my "grandma needs to hit the bong" comment, because she obviously hits the bong as much as she hits the meth pipe. Only a seasoned stoner would make deep fried turkey casserole. I bet Grandma Arbuckle taught Paula Deen everything she knows. I also bet that Grandma Arbuckle's Thanksgiving dinner would look even more delicious if I had hard boiled egg eyes like Garfield, Liz, Jon and Odie.

Thank you Michael K for recognizing one of my favorite TV characters, ever! I love those Garfield specials, and while the Thanksgiving one isn't my favorite, any show featuring Granny has a special place in my heart! Can't wait to sing along to the Christmas special again this year... It's a good old fashioned Christmas, down on the farm.. a little overeating never did you any harm...

Grandma Arbuckle reminds me of my dear departed GrandmaBacon. Every year, she would insist on helping with the dinner. Toward the end, she was loosing her vision, but still demanded to be part of the cooking. The last year that she was allowed to partake, she shot about five pounds of potato skin shrapnel all over the kitchen sink window, the cabinets and the ceiling. She had no clue and, of course, we couldn't say anything at the time. The minute Dad left to drive her back home, Mama Bacon was cursing under her breath and scrubbing up the damage. The following holidays, she was politely given a cocktail and told to sit her azz down.
