Take 2-3 ibuprofen and try not to keep that arm stiff. It'll go away a lot faster. A lot of people let the arm get stiff by not using it because it hurts. That just makes it worse and the pain lasts longer.

The flu shot is a "dead" virus that doesn't actually "give" you the flu, but sometimes people have side effects that are a lot like the flu. Fever, chills, some body aches but esp where they gave the injection.
And your right, there's too many that don't give a damn what the end result of their work is. Just as long as it gets done and they get paid.

I was told all the time I gave the "best" shots when I was working. Always made me feel good, just them knowing what's going to happen and would have people ask for me specifically. I knew when I was practicing that I HATED shots, so I always wanted to make my patients as comfortable as possible. During AND after. Those intermuscular ones hurt like a bitch, leave you sore as hell unless you hit it "right there"! Lol
Ok, that was a *little* too much bragging. I'll stop now! :o). I feel my hands starting to protest, so if I drop outta site here soon you'll know why. {o:

I guess kangaroo are kinda like moose in atlantic canada. They are overpopulated, so become a healthy source of meat. I wouldnt eat it as I am a veg, but it makes sense environmentally.

To all of the nice people who offered advice a few weeks ago when my daughter's goldfish was swimming all crazy, I'm happy to report it lived and has never been better. I made an assumption that it had swim bladder so I fed it peas as was suggested on a few sites and it was better almost immediately. I still can't believe it.

Yeah, this is what surprised me when I tried it (in The Netherlands of all places). It was like the most tender beef and really tasty I thought and seemingly completely lean. Was not expecting to like it as much as I did.

My moo went in this morning with similar issues in the opposite way. They had to give her three enemas, poor thing, and express her anal sacs. Sorry...know its pretty disgusting. Luckily, nothing was abcesssed as I previously thought. I just spent all last night cleaning stuff up. I have given up on these carpets and told the landlord I will just replace them whenever we move.

Awww! That Momma cat sounds like a gem. Getting cats to get along is half the battle when introducing a newbie and sounds like its covered. I hear you, though. There is NO way I could just leave the babies. But, hey, seriously.....we can never take in every cat we see in need can we. Its just impossible.

The momma cat is absolutely in love with both of our inside cats, to the point where she runs into our house when she sees them from the door . The husband said just close the door and keep her inside with ours, but I'm worried about the babies. They do eat dry food now , they look about six weeks old, but I don't think they can fend for themselves yet. I get to take poopsamples to the vet tomorrow , one of our insiders has the shits. Gah.

I know...it just makes it so hard to help them when they need it most! I think sometimes its a pride thing with cats (with my cat it is), but I may be wrong.

My moo moo had a big day at the vet after having a bad couple of days and she is now snoring it off....happy as a lark! : )
