Hi Whamo! Yeah, we usually get some type of storm, either a Hurricane or Nor'easter. But they have never been too bad (thank goodness).
The most damage we have ever gotten is siding and roofing being ripped off, and some trees down. We live on one of the higher parts of the city, but a LOT of people around us (those that live by the bay) get severe flooding every time. :(

We just bought a baby goat one month ago and we haven't stopped laughing yet. She's hilarious!!! The other day some little kids were over and we were afraid she would hurt them with her horns, although she's very small still, but we ended up cutting two 6" lengths from a blue swimming noodle and putting them over her horns. It was a good solution and she didn't mind it at all but holy shit she looked funny, they looked like she had two big blue rollers in her hair! And she gets up on her hind legs and kind of sways and dances with the wind . . . it's quite a sight, trust! Cars slow down as they drive by. LOL!

Mike critters like this are up and at it literally within hours of birth. I use to work with horses when I was a kid and they are able to wobbly run by their moms within 24 hours and by day two they can be amazingly well co-ordinated.
By day 4 this little guy would be able to run full speed.
That goat seems awfully active/mobile for only eight days old.

Very Chill:) All the musicians were good. For some reason the bass player stood out to me. You sure get to see neat stuff on PBS. Every time I go down that low in channels,not much is on, well Antique Roadshow.

Pushy I was watching a PBS show and they had this band called Red Rock Rondo, I was thinking about you and figured you might like them, the woman singing has that beautiful "folk voice" and they have some really cool harmonise.
Check out the tune Rocks On Fire on youtube. It starts with 30 40 seconds of narration before they get into the tune but I think you'd like it. Check out the other tunes after! I really like it anyway:)

Cute! There was a noisy kitten video yesterday that made my elderly cat wake up, climb up on me to reach the computer and peer at the screen, even looking behind the computer to see if the kitten was there.
She'd had several litters by the time I rescued her so I couldn't tell if she was excited by the idea of a kitten or thinking, "damn, I've outlived the other 3 cats to become the only child, she'd better not bring any more cats into this house!"
