Richard Belzer Gives Nazi Salute To Fox News
Actor, foolery maker and comedian Richard Belzer was on Fox 5's Good Day New York today, which is sort of surprising since I can't believe they have time to interview guests in between giving us the weather every 3 seconds. But anyway, they had Richard Belzer on to talk about Law & Order: SVU and stuff, and who ever is in charge of hitting the bleep button nearly had an aneurysm in their censorin' finger when he started making jokes about ass rape. Richard also topped his ass rape joke by giving out a special "Heil, gurl, Heil" to Fox News.
The ridiculousness started when one viewer said that Good Day New York's co-host Dave Price looks like a clone of Richard Belzer. (Side note: I definitely have different eyeballs than that viewer, because I don't see it at all. Richard Belzer looks more like a mix of white Obama and a scholarly Galapagos turtle to me.) Co-host Rosanna Scotto said that Dave should play Richard's brother on SVU and Richard responded with: "If he gets molested and banged in the ass."
The side-eyes and nervous laughs from the hosts was Richard Belzer's cue to say goodbye, so he did it by making the Nazi salute for Dave and Rosanna's colleagues at the other Fox division. Richard's rep told TMZ that it was all just a joke: "[It was] satirical gesture toward Fox News ... whose ideology he is opposed to. The other portion was a joke pertaining to the material of Richard's TV show, which he tweaked at the last minute to make about furniture. A joke is a joke."
What an irresponsible, stupid and dangerous thing to do! If Mad Mel Gibson was watching with the sound off and didn't know Richard Belzer was Jewish, he'd want to bang Richard in the ass before Jacuzzi. In this day and age, the Nazi salute is also sign language for "Please bang me in the ass before Jacuzzi, Mel Gibson." Richard should know better. For shame.

Sorry Whamo, I don't see anything cool about this guy. If you stand by or witness an event that ends in tragedy and you are not forthcoming in everything that you know then I believe you are just a culpable as the person committing said act.
The Splendour was a small boat. Walken's tiny room was in very close proximity to the deck, the salon and the master suite.
The captain has said that you couldn't have been in that bedroom without hearing everything that went down.
Walken's statement was that he didn't see or hear anything.
I call b.s. on that. I have read several books on this tragedy and stand by what I have said about him.
He is a coward.
I have zero tolerance for douchebags like this.
On topic: I think that Belzer is also a douchebag for his derogatory comments about the intelligence level of the men and women soldiers in our military.

I was channel surfing last week and Jesse Ventura was on Piers Morgan and Belzer was sitting in the audience. Ventura was on there to promote a book or something and talking about how he believes 9/11 was a government conspiracy. I can totally see Belzer treating waiters like crap. He just strikes me as an arrogant jerk.

He already made his statement 40 years or however ago, perhaps he actually didn't witness anything and said what he had to say.

Years ago Richard Belzer appeared at a club where I used to work and treated the waitstaff like complete shit. When he told one girl to bring him water with lemon he berated her for not squeezing the lemon INTO THE BOTTLE instead of putting it in a glass with ice (as she was trained to do). Yeah, she was supposed to read your mind and know exactly how you like your fucking water with lemon.
The guy was an arrogant, unfunny, rude, condescending asshole. The whole staff hated him.

I find it pretty funny that most internet gossip columnists (and those who comment on these kinds of sites)hate on Fox all day long, yet their news channels consistently have the best ratings. And I TOTALLY agree with MeowMeow. Just because you CAN be an asshole, doesn't mean you HAVE to be one. Not once has he had the moral courage to come forth and bear witness to what happened that tragic night.
They have reopened the case and the first thing that spineless Walken does is to "lawyer up".
He is one of three people that knows what happened and could give her family and friends some closure.

The thing is that the only way a new character can appear on SVU is if that character is molested and banged in the ass. It's their one story line. The brother can't just show up to see the Christmas Show @ Radio City. The brother has got to be banged in the ass first.
