@ Sal....I couldn't agree more, Phillip Morris was a fantastic film and if not for the gay content would have been seen as a one of his best films IMO
People write him off and I think are put off by his shtick and I totally understand the "you love em or hate him" attitude but his serious work is very much overlooked. I think like a lot of these guys he's both a troubled dude but amazingly gifted as well.

I liked him in The Truman Show. I think he has serious actor chops---but has little opportunity to use them. I think he was snubbed for best actor for Truman (if memory serves me) Never really enjoyed his humor though
He strikes me as a good but kind of a dark, troubled guy. He's said himself that he's got major mood issues. I loved him in The Truman Show and when I was little, I thought he was hilarious. I would have liked to have seen him in more dramatic roles.
