Gladys, I read through last nights post. I would also like to extend an Olive Branch to you.
You are correct, I am relatively new to posting on here, as well as Foxy I believe. For myself, the first couple of months I was on here, I was having health issues that resulted in major surgery. After that, I had some really bad reactions to medication. In hindsight, I probably should have just read posts longer than I did and not posted until I had a better feel of the chemistry on Michael's site. Unfortunately, between feeling like shit, not working much, I had times where I felt pretty good and I was bored out of my mind. So I started posting on here.

What I think I've learned over the past few months is that Dlisted people, on the whole, are very protective of each other. In this day in age, I'll have to say that's very refreshing indeed. This is not to say we cannot have disagreements or have difference of opinions on here or even spats. That would be quite boring and not genuine. What I personally am trying to do is not be uncivilized to anyone, regardless of where they or I stand politically or even morally. It has been my personal experience, as your as well I'm sure, that there are many people that I don't agree with on these issues---but that does not make them bad people, on the contrary, I will alway believe in goodness first.

Michael, in my view, has struck an incredible balance between being funny and snarky yet not mean or cruel. It's a very fine line and I don't know how he does it but he does, day in and day out for years now. For me, I feel very lucky that
I found his site. I was on another site for years and years and that site became so truly mean spirited I had to stop and look at myself and ask: Why am I on here? What does that say about me. I got off that day and never returned.
