Open Post: Hosted By Richard Simmons
Some days you just really need to feel your nipples give birth to drops of extra sweetened hummingbird juice while staring at pictures of the graceful dandelion Richard Simmons looking like somebody's fucked up auntie on Halloween, and this is one of those days. I'd never think to put together New Balance sneakers, spider web tights from Capezio, a DIY black swan costume, two handfuls of googly eyes and a bunch of fake pearl bracelets from some little girl's jooree box, but Richard pulls it off.
And you know how in movies and shit, bitches are always saying things like, "I'm just waiting for the butterfly in me to awaken and take flight"? This is what they're talking about.

Probably won't be going to any shows. When I'm in Manhattan, I walk just about everywhere. One of my best friends from college relocated from Boston to Brooklyn a couple of years ago - enjoying that aspect of the city as well. Lots of good eats there. Traif in Willamsburg was such a great experience!

I haven't been to NYC in ages, are you going to see some shows? I did a couple of shows, but mostly wandered around and ate, lol, such good food there.

Thanks! Doing the same type of vacation, which is a huge departure for me - usually like visiting other cities. Have more time coming up though, so will be hitting NYC (at least) soon.

They said jumping or diving in the water helps the bacteria go up into the brain and once it gets there, spreads like wildfire. Just plug your nose and make sure any scratches you have are healed up. If you notice you feel ill after swimming, get yourself medical attn immediately!
People were complaining of fever, stomach pains, headaches....kind of like flu symptoms.

Omg...anyone who is going to swim in a lake, river, or improperly treated pool..please be careful. I've been reading so many horror stories about the bacteria levels being so high because if the intense heat. People are getting flesh eating diseases and meningitis and dying from it. :(
