The Second Coming Goes To Bergdorf's

I already linked to a few pictures at Lainey of Beyonce struttin' into Bergdorf Goodman in NYC with a huge dollop of Baduizm on her head and little Blue Ivy Carter in her arms, and here's a picture from the inside someone tweeted earlier today. Beyonce and Jay-Z's team of security guard ninjas must've been hungover or some shit, because usually when they see you pull out a cell phone while in the presence of the chosen one, they'll tackle you to the floor, drag you out of the store, throw you into a van, drive you out to a deserted field, drop you into a shaft and before you know it Basement Baby is handing you a plate of hors d'oeuvres made of moth balls as a welcome gift. But that didn't happen and the Internet got the first picture of B.I.C.'s face in six months. She has a whole lot hair! She has a whole lot of cheeks! She has some Jay-Z in the face! Now, every church in the world can update the portrait they have on their Shrine to Blue Ivy Carter.

And I don't know what has Beyonce and Jesus' successor so hypnotized. I'm guessing what they're staring at is covered in rare red diamonds and/or is so expensive that it needs two tags to fit its full price. Because if that wasn't the case, they'd both be yawning while saying "NEXT!" with their eyes.

Most black babies are born light but their ears are color they'll eventually be. Their hair is the same texture as all races of babies because they've been floating around in fluids, this too will change with time as the hair sheds a little and grows back the actual texture. Trust me, I'm black with the same hair texture as Christina Milian or Mya... Anywho, she looks like camel and the jackass but she's adorable with those cheeks

I have to agree...the first baby had delicate features, this one hs much stronger features. babies don't change that much. this from a person who took pictures of her son every week for a year and noticed a transformation but not as drastic a transformation as baby Blue here.

Another thing bebehs usually don't come out of the womb with full fros...smh at some of these comments obvious that people haven't been around too many African American or biracial newborns/bebehs. I've seen many Asian or Hispanic looking black newborns whos curls or texture and darker skin tone sets in by 2-3 months.

Babies change rapidly...all of them are born looking the same, regardless of race. As for hair and skin, within a few months, you have a completely different being. My own daughter was born with stick straight hair, but later became Lil Orphan Annie. My nephew was born with a light complexion and now, he's quite dark, so you never know.

It's the same baby--she's just fatter and has gotten darker. As someone else said, black babies change color and hair textures can change. It's really not that unusual. Y'all are cracking me up, though!

Its an etnic thing
I knew of some babies born white and with straight soft hair who got darker and the hair got either curly or kinky
I find it wierd that people are so freaked out over bey's baby changes, I guess you have to be part black or hispanic and then it will be a common thing for you
To sum it up it is pretty normal for a black child to have these changes
