Sylvester Stallone's Son Found Dead
Sage Moonblood Stallone (seen above with his Uncle Frank), Sylvester Stallone's son with his first wife Sasha Czack, was found dead by his housekeeper at his Hollywood apartment this afternoon. Sage was only 36. The New York Post is saying that their source tells them Sage died of a pill overdose and apparently pills were found around his apartment. But LAPD Commander Andrew Smith tells People that gossiping hos need to flip their mouths to off about the overdose talk, because Sage could've died from a stroke or heart attack and they'll know more after the autopsy. TMZ is also saying that Sage overdosed on pills.
Sage was a director, actor, producer and screenwriter. He played Rocky's son in Rocky V and was also in Daylight. Sage's attorney says that he seemed happy, was working a lot and was planning a wedding to his fiancee. A rep for Sylvester issued this statement about the death of his eldest son and Jackie Stallone's grandson :
"Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever."
Rest in peace, Sage.

Doll-parts, I was referring to the Travolta family. They denied for years that Jett had Autism. Then they tried to say he had a "lesser" disorder. JT finally had to "admit" under oath that his son had Autism because there was an inquest into all the shady weirdness that went down when Jett died.
John and Kelly have always sickened me for their disgusting denials. And why did they keep him away from society while he lived? Autistic people do not need to be shut away like fucking Quasimoto. :(

I agree that it was decent of Sly to mention Sage's mother in his statement. Apparently, the health problems that one of his daughters suffered caused Sylvester to do some soul searching. If that is true, then perhaps his shitty treatment of wife #1 (Sage's mother) is something he grew to regret. Furthermore, a non-custodial dad still does minimal work compared to the custodial mother (IMO), even if he is an excellent dad. So I like the fact that he acknowledged her.
I will say another good thing about Sly. He and his ex-wife never tried to hide the fact that Sage's younger brother (I always forget how to spell the name because it is some God-awful "you-neek" spelling of the name Sergio) is autistic.
The first time I ever heard of Autism was when they publicly discussed his disorder and their efforts to help their son. Sly never thought his son's autism was a poor reflection on himself. Ahem... does this remind you all of another mega-star who didn't view his autistic son in quite the same way?
I heard this while driving home & immediately grieved for Sasha & Sly. A horrible, senseless loss. The angels didn't expect to see Sage so early.

Rocky was before my time, but I remember being in middle school and coming across a Rocky marathon on AMC one day. I developed the biggest crush on "Sly" Stallone. Sly has like, 5 (maybe 6) kids from two marriages.
And, Frank Stallone looks nothing like the AIDS-era Rock Hudson to me--in the (sad) pics I've seen of RH during this time he is emaciated and clearly at death's door. FS doesn't look like that at all.
Edit: RichBitch, I see what you mean now. I was thinking of later-stage Rock Hudson, but you're right--though I think the pic the producers of Dynasty show of him is touched-up and much better than he actually looked at the time.
